Anyone know how tickets are selling in Chicago? They don't go on general sale until tomorrow. I have looked with various presale codes, and the only seats available seem to be in the uppermost section, which, according to my niece, is very high and very steeply pitched. Don't sit there if you tend to get vertigo in high places. Looks like they will have a great crowd for opening night, including my two sisters, my cousin and me!

I've been trying to research what percent of a venue sale makes a successful concert. Looks to be too many variables to set a percentage. What say you guys that know these things? Read a lot about concerts, how artist are paid etc.. It really takes someone who MUST sing or play to be in a business that from the outside looking in seems crazy and borderline fraudulent.
I will be forever grateful that Adam was able to break through and I am able to hear him. As the old adage goes "most fun I've ever had dressed"

As the old adage goes "most fun I've ever had dressed" Setting aside the financials -- the media usually consider anything over 70% sold in the US and Canada to be fine. More than that notable. Once it hits 90% of seats filled, in an arena, it is perceived as "sold out". JMO These concert will be sold out for the most part. They promotion has been well staged, Queen is Queen, Adam is right for the part and famous in his own right. Win, Win, Win. SOLD OUT.

I have etymotic. Which kind do you have? Same, etymotic, standard size Love them. I was right by the stage at Winstar in that summer concert without protection and was freaked that I did something to my ears. Luckily I was OK but I bought some immediately and I have been at very loud concerts and right up at the stage again with no problem. I love them

If you are looking for Chicago tickets -- and will do a single ticket -- there are a few in Section 107 Row 8 (VIP Fan Pack).
The Chicago Presale is wiped out! Only 300 level tickets for every allocation.
