Fifth House Sun fifthhousesun 3m Day 1. Grand total of 13 regular seats now left at MSG on TM map. Happiness everywhere but RCA. Unfortunately, they are probably laughing all the way to the bank. They own all the recording masters to FYE and Trespassing. BUT at least Adam gets if royalties and FYE is at the higher royalty rate.

Ah, the wonder of social networking. Within a few minutes, Aloha and I connected (thanks to all who intervened via twitter), so we are going to be squeezing together! Hmmm. I know it'll be packed so I guess we WILL be squeezing together.

The sale is going great and it looks like overall they planned just the right size venues with very few exceptions. Thanks, Q3 for backing me up in my 'PHL promotion'. I think, this is a great venue and good tickets, great access. Got a couple of questions: How do we know that those venues who are now on public sale have really put all their available seats out, and are not holding some sections back to be released later? (i.e. how do we know that statements like x amount of tickets left are close to correct. I realize they are never totally accurate, due to ongoing sales transactions). But, if the venue still is holding back blocks of tickets, they could be totally wrong, couldn't they? Does anyone know, how that works when a venue forces you to buy two or more tickets and does not allow transfer of tickets? Obviously, they only got the one name of the purchaser, not the rest of the group. So, if they send you the ticket last minute, which they do, that means you need to transfer them at the venue to another party. Seems kind of cumbersome, and they right now hinder me from upgrading. But what restriction is there on the additional folks in a party, if any? All of the tickets were not put on sale. Some may appear at a later date from blocks of artists' tickets, promoter tickets, VIP tickets, venue VIP allocations...etc. But for a hot concert like this they will either appear as Platinum Tickets or on a resale site. IF YOU ARE STILL LOOKING FOR TICKETS there is something unusual that happened on this sale. The prices have been increased at least 3 times in some venues. So right now, for some venues, there are tickets for sale on Stub Hub for LESS than the same ticket is on Ticketmaster. PLUS they moved tickets from the fan presale into VIP packages so I found some tickets that fans got for $125 that are now being offered by VIP Nation at $225!! FOUR CONCERTS WITH GOOD TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE PHILADELPHIA, DETROIT, DALLAS and VANCOUVER. If you are looking at Philadelphia (the ticket buying website is terrible) you need to check every level. There are no Ultimate tickets but there are Diamond and Fan Pack tickets. Question: a concert is sold out even if the resellers have bought a great many tickets.. So if folks don't buy the resellers tickets ,, the concert arena ends up with many empty seats.. Is that right.. This is all new to me,I never went to concerts before Adam...

Pro and con for wearing ear protection at the concert? Ask me. I have worked with folks with hearing loss all my adult life. Bottom line? WEAR THEM! At the sound levels they will have at arena rock concerts, you can do permanent damage to your inner ear, not just temporary.
As for wanting to experience the bone rattling visceral feeling of the music? No need for concern. At the levels they pump in rock concerts, your bones will literally vibrate. It has nothing to do with ear plugs. Or hearing. You could be totally deaf, and still feel the pounding vibrations. You could totally block the sound waves from going into your ear canal, and the intensity of the sound will vibrate your skull itself and transmit the sound to your inner ear. (Called bone conduction). You WILL feel it. I promise. The ear plugs will just attenuate the sound pressure levels to less damaging intensities. Particularly for the highest frequencies which are the first to suffer damage from loud noise.
Okay, I will stop being 'mommy' now. Back to being blissful about the great ticket sales. If "sold out" is 90% or more, as Q3 said, I think we have several venues that could claim that.

This is a really interesting follow for Adam.... Palaye Royale is the official Instagram stream for fashion-art band Palaye Royale. www.palayeroyale.comPalaye Royale an unsigned fashion-art rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada. The band formed in 2008 under another name and in 2011 the partnership of frontman Remington Leith, guitarist & organist Sebastian Danzig, and drummer Emerson Barrett formed Palaye Royale. The band in little over a year has independently released two singles and a six song extended-play. Palaye Royale has released two self-directed/produced/edited music videos for their singles, “Morning Light” & “Get Higher”. As well, Palaye Royale has released six art-films which compliment each track from the debut extended-play, “The Ends Beginning”. To date Palaye Royale has released twenty-two ‘No. Series’ episodes which is a behind the scenes look into the “day in the life” of the band. Palaye Royale has performed numerous successful full capacity shows in California and New York City catching the eyes of the music, fashion and branding industry. Palaye Royale is featured alongside their single, “Get Higher” in the 2014 worldwide commercial for Samsung Galaxy Note. Palaye Royale are set apart by their artistry & integrity. They are “indie” in every sense of the word; completely “hands-on” from their words & musical arrangements as well as directing & producing their own music videos, to handling their own social media. The band’s look, feel and authentic style makes them stand out while they remain true and pure to their music. Palaye Royale’s musical output is primarily based around the rock genre, with some classical and psychedelic influences.

Is that right.. This is all new to me,I never went to concerts before Adam... There will not be empty seats. Most of the reseller tickets will sell. Some of the people with silly prices are just hoping someone will buy their tickets and they they will be a similar seat for way less. "Professional" brokers will sell their seats are reduced prices a few days before the concert in needed. It will not be needed for this concert. A lot of the resale tickets appear to be owned by fans who decided to upgrade and are being offered at original prices.
