I was wondering after What Do You Want From me, why Adam didn't work with Max for Trespassing. Instead he got to work with Dr. Luke again. Now that he's not with RCA, suddenly he gets to work with Max again.
I strongly doubt that Adam would decide to say anything to this random guy about who he is working with. That does not mean the Adam is not working with the most famous pop producer, it just means that the operative word is "apparently". >> I would not be surprised if Adam was working with Max Martin and/or Shellback again, and I would not be surprised if he was not. >> Pretty sure that Dr. Luke will not be working on A3 but he got special permission from RCA to work on Katy Perry's PRISM where he worked with Max Martin. Dr. Luke was and is under contract to Sony. Dr. Luke worked on two tracks on Trespassing -- the two tracks that RCA shoved down Adam's.... selected for Adam to record so they would have singles that were generic would recapture the buyers "magic" of WWFM. JMO Dr. Luke <<<<<<<< Max Martin. |

Technically Adam did not work with Max Martin for WWFM, he just recorded new vocals for Pink's track. Yes, he worked with Max Martin, and Max was in studio when he recorded both WWFM and IIHY. And Adam is the one who presented Max with his ASCAP songwriter of the year award. (that is also Kesha and Dr. Luke.)  WWFM was written by Pink, Max Martin and Shellback. IIHY by Max Martin, Shellback, Savan Kotecha. |

Yes a lot of us assumed, but this is much closer to actual confirmation. It's a little bit stronger than just the fact that he is in Sweden. Somebody asked him during the QAL announcements "Are you working with Max Martin?" He said, "I didn't say that." with a secretive smile. It always possible that the blogger assumes also. He seems to know about Adam and the connection can be made based on WWFM and IIHY. Max must be a big name in Sweden too and it could be the first name to bring up in a discussion. What Adam said to that, we don't know. Adam could be working with some people who have worked with Max or even belong in his team - or he was accompanied at the club by those people - and the blogger knew them and made an assumption. Adam can't stay totally mum when discussing with people, I would think he mentioned someone on the team but perhaps not dropped Max's name. It might be too early for that. But nice that it keeps coming up... and even nicer that overall it sounds like the album is coming around. "with a secretive smile" referring to a radio interview via phone - hm, where have you seen a video of that??? |
