I go to lots of concerts and never see Sold out listed this early. It usually says "not many left" then tells you to check back later. These concerts have 3+ months to go! I believe most will sell out. Fans are being a bit impatient, I think! ITA -- Even the May 9 Billy Joel MSG concert says this on Ticketmaster.... So they are not available but not sold either. *** If you know anyone thinking about those Groupon Tickets, I recommend against them unless that is all you can afford. For hot concert they can be really bad. |

I can't remember the person I am quoting but "don't let the wish be the father of the thought" or something like that. Just because we "want" a sold out tour won't make it so.
What we do know is that concerts are selling well. There is still 3 months to the start of the tour. Media and hype will continue with radio contests etc. The tour will do well.
Personally I don't really care about sold out or not as long as crowds are good (no fun playing to half empty halls), loud (that's a given) and passionate (also a given).

I'll let the more knowledgeable reply to your post, aleks, and comment to a couple of details only.  'we know' = assumption (we really don't know who asked who, it's based on discussions IMO) Brian said he wanted MSG and The Forum (not The Joint) Label has nothing to do with tours (the promoters do most of the work with venues and logistics) Yes, the Forum, sorry. If Adam said himself that they had agreed, I don't think there can be much doubt left on who invited whom. Maybe 'invite' is not the right word, maybe the better phrasing would be 'who made the first step towards putting into realization something Adam and Brian and Roger had already discussed among themselves'.Okay, labels have nothing to do with tours, but maybe Adam's new label gave him an incentive, concurring that the tour would be a wise idea, strategically speaking? Just speculating:))) My interpretation of "agreed": B&R agreed to promoter(s)'s offer for the NA tour which was/were precipitated by the iHeart performance and it had nothing to do with Adam/Adam's team. |

This is great!! LA has not been a great market for Queen. And that is IMPRESSIVE!! ** This photo illustrates a problem with using these maps to determine what has been sold. The Upper Level, side of stage sections, have gray rows at the back, behind the blue dots for available tickets. These seats have never been offered for sale. This is a venue I have been watching. And they only turned on partial sections on the side. *** When all done. the box score is based on percent of tickets offered for sale that were sold. Unless they offer these seats, they will not be in the capacity number. |

Yes!!!!! You're not the only one. I feel like a kid when Christmas is approaching. Several times a day I exclaim, "I'm going to see QAL!!!" Then the big smile just spreads across my face.    DH thinks I'm losing it. Have to check into Atop to confirm I'm not the only one feeling this way. By the way, any other Atoppers going to the Toronto show? Haven't seen much mentioned about that venue. Nannygoat, I'm a very quiet Atopian (mostly a lurker!) but I'll be there!! My very first time to see Adam live -- I can hardly wait!!! I'm going too!!! This is my first post but I have been an Adam fan from the time he was on Idol. Lurking at Atop is such fun, it helps to know that my obsession is shared by so many. |
