oy. this stalking business both fascinates and appalls me.
anyhow, so I'm kind of ridiculously excited about going to the San Jose show. I watched so many of the ABTD/TP videos this am, though, that I walked my dogs to the beat of the damn songs, and am playing a mashup loop of my very own in my head. The jury's out on whether or not this will help me in the phone interview I have in 50 minutes...
Also, quick story about my brother, who is a professional musician, singing a range of music from community singing traditions in Sardinia, Corsica, Georgia (republic of), and the US, as well as his own experimental folk/pop stuff (best called "chamber folk" by a reviewer). I told him about the concert, and he said, "THE Queen? Wow. They are amazing. He's going to 'be' Freddie?"
Me: "yeah. and he's good. really good."
My brother: "I bet he going to be amazing. They wrote some of the best music ever."
from your mouth to Adam's ears, apparently!

so returning to LA so soon. i am equally appalled at myself for nearly checking that flight no! i would hate to spend so much time flying, altho I suppose it is easier in first class.

*****That's what I thought, too. I was thinking the other day that too many of us know his face, mannerisms, etc. so well we could probably recognize him quicker than we would recognize some of our RL acquaintances. (I choose not to say family members..)
