Have to fly Delta from Bhm thru Atlanta....kinda expensive from here too. I need to convince myself that I'm very happy and grateful to be going to the shows I've already bought and booked. Momtomany's post earlier about going to Boston gave me the fever again.....that's when I saw all those Toronto seats.....calling my name. LOL

I know what you mean. That is the first time I have seen seats tucked into the triangle behind the thrust. Can you imagine, Adam from almost every direction - front and back. I have been slapping my click finger.  Aaaack!!! I looked too and then off to check airfare. Never been to Canada and could make a vacation out of this concert date. Dayum soooooooooooo tempting.  |

A friend that is a queen fan thinks Adam is too stiff on stage (based on QAL iHeart and Kiev). What video should I show him without scaring him (I don't think I can show Amsterdam PH  ). Any recommendations? Personally, I think Amsterdam is the perfect example of the showman on display! Go for it! It's the one I show when people ask to see a performance! It's the ultimate Adam in my opinion!!!!!!
ETA: I meant Cologne!

You might explain to her that iHeart was not a Queen audience. He was appealing to the masses of other fans there. And if she only saw the TV broadcast, she only saw 3 songs that were edited. Show her the GIF of Brian and Adam strutting off stage when he had on the Elmo jacket! adorable! It is one of the Hammersmith nights. Or how about when he jumps off the stage and splits his pants. Might want to remind her, Kiev was dress rehearsal in front of 300K! My friend is a guy and I did just that. I also mentioned being careful on live TV after AMA but I want to demonstrate Adam's wild side without going to far... My first thought was Amsterdam PH/WWL but I'm afraid it will scare him  Maybe the encore from the last GNT show. Not as OTT as Amsterdam but still crazy. |

Any recommendations? My advice is none. Queen + Adam Lambert is very different from Queen. If someone is looking for Freddie-behavior on stage, that is not Adam. Perhaps you should she your friend a video from an Adam concert (Amesterdam GNT if it is a women or gay man) or maybe Marry the Night. ETA: I just saw it was a guy. I would just pass on trying to change his mind. Watch a Freddie video -- even Montreal 1981 when Freddie and the band were lackluster. He is all over the place and insane. Adam is just completely different. |
