POSTMODERN - of or relating to art, architecture, or literature that reacts against earlier modernist principles, as by reintroducing the traditional of classical elements of styles or practices to extremes [laughs] You, me, and everyone else (except Adam who is probably grinning at everyone's confusion) Good to see ya by the way.

83gatonegro1 hour ago (edited) This is a perfect example of how an amazing cover like this completely outshadows the original song. I didn't know this song before, now I am listening to the original version and all I can think is "Meh". I guess it's what they call the "Lambert Effect" XD

I believe that QE tribute show is not a consideration. QE is a theater show, tribute show playing to relatively small audiences. In the US/Canada that average venue capacity was around 1,400 and tickets are averaging around US$40. In Hong Kong QE was part of a bigger event. If anything, QE would act as a small promotion for QAL. *** IMO Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai could all get concerts. I am certain promoters would support any of these cities. *** I also do not think the Q+PR Tours provide much info about what they will do beyond the general way tours are often set up -- in blocks of concert dates in regions. So we appear to have the North American dates for QAL. Two differences are: 1. Adam has a solo album coming out that he will need to promote. 2. Brian and Roger are 9 years older now. As you say, they are 9 years older now, which suggests that breaks between regional tours are even more likely. I only see European summer plans for QE in UK and Germany, which is where my comments were focussed. I understand that QE is different from WWRY and is essentially being performed as a one-of in many places but if promoters/venues have been set, then exclusivity clauses will be in place. Would you want to be promoting a Queen show of any kind in a city where Queen with Adam was to be performing within two months? Queen may put QE to bed for the summer - they haven't posted a lot of dates but Marc Martel seems to think a fair number are in the pipeline. IMHO, no one can predict with certainty who will get or won't get concerts. Asia has been a major market for Queen and I'm sure they could put a lot of dates together if they want to. I do not believe there will be any long breaks in the tour. I think the Tour will end in August, 2014. They might do some one-off special events -- but I do not think Adam is available for much more. Shoshanna was very specific about Adam not being available after a specific date. Adam has said this will be a one-time only, limited engagement. Brian May will turn 67 on July 19 -- Uncasville, CT Mohegan Sun Arena concert. Roger Taylor will turn 65 on July 26 -- Atlantic City, NJ – Boardwalk Hall concert. I think Brian and Roger are being honest when they say this is the last time. ** Regarding QE and WWRY -- neither has anything to do with QAL as far as I can tell. If anything, the QAL North America Tour might (and I emphasize, might) pave the way for more QE shows -- but they were certainly not selling out most of those shows -- some shows have less than 500 people in the audience. QE is booked for 20 dates in small venue is Europe running through May 31 -- ticket sales are moderate. The future seems uncertain. WWRY is already slated to end -- the London production is due to close on 31st May 2014. The Vegas production closed in 2005. There are still some touring companies doing WWRY but that is truly irrelevant. ** I have never seen QE but have watched some YouTubes. I have seen Queen and Queen + Adam Lambert live and QE is definitely not a substitute for seeing the real thing.
