Season 8 - Kris Allen (shown right) possibly the nicest songbird to hit the Idol stage has only had one Billboard Top 20 hit from 2009 through American Idol2013. His runner up that year did a bit better for himself and is non other than Adam Lambert (shown right) who has sold over 12 million copies of his album and his 1st album went platinum and his second debuted at No. 1. Quite possible an epic fail for this season. Well, I don't know? Sounds good to me!!! LOL! At least the 2nd album did debut at #1. The whole wording of the part about 12 million copies & 1st album went platinum confuses me, though. Even though I know it's not right, it's confusing. Or, maybe it's just me...I get confused easily these days. *shrugs* Many of the numbers in this article seem too high to me. I think she is qouting the number for the sum of albums plus singles worldwide, i.e., number of "units" sold. Last I heard the FYE album had sold about 2 million copies worldwide, was still about 100,000 short of platinum in the USA, but was platinum in some other countries. |

I thought how boring it would be to stan him!!! Same bald head, same face scruff, same clothes, same singing, same holding the microphone, etc. etc I may not have liked all of Adam's looks, but at least, he has switched things up and entertained me enormously over the years! I wonder what's next. |

Nancy Sinatra just called Adam her neighbor in a text a couple of days ago. This sounds to me like Adam is still in the Condo, likely renting month to month. Maybe he hasn't made settlement yet on a new house? who knows Question - notice that Adam added a nose ring as Sauli has one too. So either Adam took out the nose ring for the photo shoot or these new Cherry pics were done sometime ago. Can anyone put a timeline on when he added the nose ring ??? LOL it's a boring Friday night and damp and chilly so just making idle chatter……. Adam easily could have taken the nose ring out for the latest Lee Cherry photos. I do not believe Adam has purchased a home in LA. |

But this is right, "Quite possible an epic fail for this season." I assume they mean the vote result was an epic fail. |
