I use Freemake Video Downloader. Open the Vimeo by clicking on the word Vimeo in the lower right hand corner. That lets you see the url. Copy the url. Open the Freemake Downloader. Click on the prl box. It pastes the url, and gives you a choice of video quality. Click download and that's it! Easy peasy... Good luck! Thank you, Evergreen! I also use it to download YouTubes. I should warn you - I know just enough to be dangerous...  I am in awe of the folks who have everything saved and organized. I just grab things that really "grab" me, and hope to organize it one day... And when a computer crashes, I thank God for those who have lost videos, etc. available to us! (I have started backing up onto a flash drive, though.) |

I think I just have the free downloader. I also use it to download YouTubes. I should warn you - I know just enough to be dangerous... I am in awe of the folks who have everything saved and organized. I just grab things that really "grab" me, and hope to organize it one day... And the appeal is already in the works. (see below) Oh, and the forces of the right-eous are already working on fighting it! I cannot believe how nuts once normal Ohio has become! URGH! ETA: We should have an anti-discrimination amendment on Ohio ballots for 2014 and it has deep public support. Nearly 7 in 10 Ohioans favor laws protecting gay and lesbian Ohioans from discrimination, according to a 2013 survey by the Public Religion Research Institute. The survey found 84 percent of Ohioans incorrectly think Ohio includes sexual orientation in its discrimination laws. The same poll found Ohioans were split, 47-47, on overturning Ohio's gay marriage ban.The Freedom to Marry constitutional amendment should be on Ohio ballots in November 2014. There is also a separate petition campaign and bi-partisan legislative effort to pass a bill banning discrimination based on sexual orientation. This is likely to pass unless the conservative Republicans can find some trick to use. |

If you are trying to download the Vimeo videos on page 1 of today's thread, please note that some of them, but not all, have a "Download" button below the video. Just click this button to download. This will likely give you a better copy than using another downloader.
