The topic has moved on but I wanted to clarify that the fan art I don't care for was not necessarily posted today, and was certainly not the Sharka (?) person referenced upthread. It is just something that has bugged me lately, likely since the influx of Glee kids. I see a lot of fan art that I think is good and of course interest in any of the arts must be nurtured in our children. But I also think that we do them a great disservice when we neglect to gently suggest that further practice might be in order before they begin self publishing on the internet at large. It is of course a fine line to walk- constructive criticism and keeping the dream alive while pointing out things that clearly need improvement. Thankfully I am not an art teacher nor a parent of (younger) children, because I no longer have the tact to help them through the awkward stages. Clearly (although I did teach within my trade for many years and so know how to tell folks when no, that just won't do. Do it again). To each his own, of course. But I think striving to be excellent and working hard to perfect one's craft before exhibiting it should be encouraged and I also think trophies for participation (i.e. universal praise for lackluster or ho hum work) do no one any favors. That's all.

If he is done now, there really is a chance for a single before Queen -- in May perhaps. I have such a strong feeling that the roller coaster is starting to head -- UP, UP, UP. Oh chapf! Love this so much I know someone mentioned having a thread (?) for all your specials smileys. Has this come true yet???

He was in Europe not in some jungle dealing with alligators LOL Oh, but our hemisphere is back in balance!! I doubt that's what Bamafan meant. I am always happy when anyone I know touches down and is home after a long flight!

He was in Europe not in some jungle dealing with alligators LOL yeah but alligators only live in North America with a smaller cousin in China. Thankfully Adam is safe in LA and is not in Florida!! But we have both Alligators and Crocodiles in the Americas -- American crocodile (Crocodylus acutus) -- smaller than alligators -- is found in North, Central and South America. But since the alligator are also a crocodilian, it is much more confusing than they told me when I was a kid watching Peter Pan.

(I'm sorry, I'm in totally weird mood today and I couldn't resist LOL) Well the Lipton Tea commercial starting to air in Southern Europe is no small thing. There needs to be a new AVICII single soon and LMD is in the running. Anything that pushes Island to do LMD as a summer single would be great. And TV campaigns can have impact. ETA: And alligators!!

I worry every time Adam is on a plane. I hate flying, I mean really hate it! He travels so much I'd almost rather not know when he's in the air!!!

Exactly, Mys*&@^#r.....especially when someone I "love" touches down and is home after a long flight! I'm thrilled he's been in Stockholm working on his album......I'm just glad he's back!
