Devenlane says she has the videos of Strut in Korean jeans commercial and Mad World in ABC Flash Forward promo and she is going to upload them on her blog today. (since the youtubes have been deleted) Great!! I think I will rip these commercials because they tend to vanish -- Time for a Adam rare stuff data vault! And TV Commercial are a perfect place to start. ETA: On the topic of big hits -- Pharell William's "Happy" is just a monster -- #1 in at least 30 countries. I stopped counting. And his album just had another great week. 787K units so far. Pharell was on Ellen yesterday and he thanked Ellen for supporting him since the beginning of the song and album. Also thanked her for actually got him performed on Oscar. He said "when radio doesn't want to play your song", the kind of support that Ellen gives him's HUGE. Pharell's a big name and I cannot believe radio doesn't want to play this song "Happy'. Not sure what he's talking about but I am always streaming radio at work and the station that I'd like to hear 94.9FM playing "Happy" all the time.... so I'm Happy.

It looks like LMD is being released as by AVICII (no featured artists). Here is how it appeared on FOX FM Australia -- recently played last night.  There is NO official single cover per Island (I checked). And there is NO official listing of LMD with featured artists. I love fan creations but I wish they would label them as such. It is possible that AVICII could change this now, but he has never done it before. So I do not expect it. , I am confused... Does this mean LMD is being released as a single? Or is this Byron Cooke playing LMD just for the sake of it? On the other station, the playlist said featuring Adam Lambert and Nile Rodgers! |
