It looks like LMD is being released as by AVICII (no featured artists). Here is how it appeared on FOX FM Australia -- recently played last night.  There is NO official single cover per Island (I checked). And there is NO official listing of LMD with featured artists. I love fan creations but I wish they would label them as such. It is possible that AVICII could change this now, but he has never done it before. So I do not expect it. |

*** Two separate things -- 1. Will LMD be AVICII's next single -- looks like it is headed that way but not announced yet. All signs point to LMD is likely to be the next AVICII single but it is NOT YET been released as a radio single. A radio edit was serviced (delivered) to Australian radio stations. Bryon (and others in Australia) are playing LMD because they was asked to by UMG. [Usually radio gets single 10 days to 2 weeks before they are released. Usually, there are some early spins before the song is released to radio and goes for adds. Part of the promo process.] UNG/Island/AVICII makes the single calls and announcements for AVICII singles and they have not done that yet. For a major artist with many single options (like AVICII), they will be careful to make sure they have a hit first. 2. IF LMD is AVICII's next single will it be by AVICII or by AVICII featuring Adam Lambert and Nile Rodgers? Looks like Bryon (who is a huge Glambert) listed it incorrectly and it has now been fixed -- the artist is AVICII. No featured listing. This could change again but that would be a surprise. *** WMU is by AVICII -- but now everyone knows who the singer is.  Adam and Nile are both famous in their own right. (Nile is a legend if you ask me). Does not matter if they are officially credited or not, the song will be covered and introduced as done by the three of them. |
