Ohh.. he's as cool as cucumber but he snapped before in a very nice way .. "I'm glad he got headline right know.. I guess he didn't get one before".. he said this when Clay said that Adam's screaming instead of singing .. LOL. After this Clay has never commenting about Adam singing anymore. Adam on WWHL Plead The Fifth
This WWHL was 3 years later. The one I mentioned above was when he was in 2009 or if my memory served me right he's on his Idol tour. He had to do a lot of interviews and one of them asked about Clay's comment.

Yes, Adam can throw out some zingers when provoked. Very tongue-in-cheek. One of my favorites was his comment about Gene Simmons on this interview: "Did you hear him sing on the show? --- He sounded great!" Michael Slezak at first is totally confused, because Adam delivers the line so sincerely. Then, he sees the smirk and the twinkle in Adam's eyes and gets the sarcasm. Beautifully done.

I kinda love it when he does get snarky!! He is usually so polite or either ignores openly rude comments about him, so he deserves to be snarky sometimes. Personally, I would never want to get in a war of words with Adam, as sharp as he is he could completely shred me LOL! |
