Nice, they include links to buy both Boy George and Adam's music in this article. THEGAYUKBoy George And Adam Lambert Out On The Town TogetherLegendary singer Boy George and the incredible Adam Lambert share a selfie moment in LA. Boy George seems to be living it up large in LA as these tweets prove. The Do You Really Want To Hurt Me singer was spotted hanging out with American Idol alumni Adam Lambert. Boy George, who showed off his toned new look last year proves he can still have fun and let loose hanging out with Adam Lambert saying: 'Ha! LA makes me dizzy!' and added: 'How pretty is @adamlambert Adam Lambert made history in 2012 after becoming the first openly gay male singer to achieve a number one album on the US Billboard 100. TALON'S TAKE
Impromptu/Rock In Rio Blues
Written by: Freddie Mercury/Brian May/Roger Taylor/John Deacon (and probably with Spike Edney to be honest)
Musicians:
Freddie Mercury - vocalizations Brian May - guitar Roger Taylor - drums John Deacon - bass guitar Spike Edney - keyboards
Before I go on, I will focus on a version of Impromptu which they did especially at the big Rock in Rio concerts. This was also released as a B-Side from the Made In Heaven album later on. It's similar in vein to Impromptu, it does include *some* lyrics - improvised of course:
- It developed over the years and as Q3 noted it was done between 1984-1986. - The band hasn't done much of it since Freddie's passing, but they do jam a little bit here and there before songs.
PERSONAL NOTES: I loved hearing these on Live at Wembley. Something different and new, even though it wasn't really a song per se. I loved hearing Freddie's falsetto.
CHANCES:
Impromptu......15% - I say 15 but in reality I give it 15% that they do SOME kind of improv jam most likely NOT related to this impromptu if that makes sense...
SUPPLEMENTAL
Stealin'
B-Side - 1989
Written by Freddie Mercury
Musicians:
Freddie Mercury - lead and backing vocals, keyboards Brian May - guitars, 12-string guitar John Deacon - bass guitar Roger Taylor - drums, percussion
- Issued as a B-Side to Breakthruin the UK as well as Scandal in the US. - Features lyrics that will share some similarity to The Cross tune In Charge Of My Heart which makes me think that perhaps Roger did have hand in writing as well. - Mostly a jam session type upbeat tune with some Freddie scatting.
UNRELEASED VERSION
DEMO
- ESSENTIAL! - 12 minutes long and just chock full of Freddie overdubbing Freddie overdubbing Freddie - yelling at himself, just very humorous and well worth searching out to listen to.
PERSONAL NOTES: I LOVE the demo. Don't get me wrong, the B-Side version is fun too but that demo is just hilarious. Love it.
CHANCES
Stealin'......0% -- I wanted to do something that wasn't a 0%er BUT it fit so well in as an improv jam as well as being a B-Side (like Adam talking about) that it fit perfectly! BUT this is a very Freddie driven song with much nonsense lyrics, I don't see them bringing it out. The demo though is hilarious!
