His hair does look a bit darker. Also, he is either due for a haircut or he is letting the sides grown in a bit! Love that shirt with the dark blue leather jacket!

Am I the only one that didn't know that Avicii is already seriously working on another album already? I remember hearing that he was working on new songs months ago, but I didn't think it was coming together already. Why does it seem so quick? If he releases in Fall, that would make 1 year in between releases. I guess Adam's "soon-ish" timeline has altered my internal clock. www.capitalfm.com/artists/avicii/news/new-album-2014/Apparently he was in Laguna Beach late April. Where was Adam?  I'm half serious. I'll take on the serious half... I think he's always working with new music but for the album there might've been some change of plans. He was supposed to tour in the US April-May and then move on to other concerts and festivals (in Europe and elsewhere) during the summer. Some breaks in the schedule when I guess he could advance his album project. But the surgery late March made him reschedule the tour as he was presribed a month-long sick leave with no concerts, no jumping, no stretching. He had to take it easy and after the initial rest I think he could very well use his brain and computer for album stuff. He had several extra weeks for that apparently speeding up the process. Last time LMD was the last song for True and was recorded end April. He had a couple of songs ready the autumn before, most of the songs recorded early 2013 (my guess). After recordings he did the producing etc. while being on the road with gigs. Now (April 22) he talks about 'heading to studio soon' with new album material - that sounds like the first songs will be recorded soon. To me it looks like several months later than with True > I'm not expecting a release in September but much later. We'll see how it goes, could be fast or not. (Considering his single success maybe and when would be a good time for new music? The delay with new single might be connected to this perhaps?) He lives in LA, in the hills near Beverly Hills (guessing from the pics not knowing the neighbourhood). So he could've met Adam in April at least (when he was recovering and Adam too was in town) if they had some plans. Haven't seen anything to point that way though. The Laguna Beach resort weekend was his one-year anniversary with his girlfriend. |
