Not sure myself about the 30 years ago comment but it's not South Africa. Queen did the 46664 gig in Cape Town in 2003. I'll have to think on this one. Could be the San Remo festival in Italy. I don't know if that's coming up. Brian hates Wembley arena and I don't think they are find of the new Wembley stadium... Edit It seems San remo was in February. Going to bed now so I'll try to do some research tmrw.... Oh you are right (of course) 46664 was billed as Queen + guests. Sam Remo song festival was in February. ** It must be a venue or a city. |

It also makes sense from a timezone perspective. If B&R are seeing this as their last major chance for a world wide tour, then they will deal with those continents that are not covered in this round (EU, AF, LA), in some kind of 2015 extension, which is why I also don't believe that this tour will end in London (in August 2014), because this will just be a 6-9 month break, not the end of the overall tour. But I do think, that B&R think that this will be their last time hitting Asia/AU in concert form, and therefore I think, that this is the stop they are going to add on this 2014 round. |
