I just ran across a poem I posted on that AdamLambertfans website in 2011. I think it was 2011. All this excitement over Adam and Queen has gotten me teary-eyed. I am really excited to be going to see him in Atlantic City. Every trip I take anymore makes me think it could be my last. I stole this poem from someone else who had posted it, but I felt like it was meant for me. I am sure you all know how poems can come out of the blue and hit home. Here it is. I hope you can relate.
Someday, the light will
shine like a sun
through my skin & they will say,
What have you done with your life?
& though there are many
moments I think I will remember, in the end,
I will be proud to say, I was one of us."

Adam will be in London and in rehearsals with Brian and Roger. I think it would be very strange if he did not attend. In other words, yes, ITA. He seems likely to be there. Also, loved your post about "I'm Going Slightly Mad" today. I can't believe how many great songs Queen has -- I think we have now proven it is >100! And there are 27 more to go! :D Indeed we have! And yes we have some more gems to uncover  As for Adam at WWRY, I definitely think he'll attend, I was pondering whether he'd perform. I'm betting that for the show itself that it would just be Queen....BUT I bet he'd perform during the afterparty for sure... |

Finally, my June/July schedule has been released and I have both July 9th and July 10th fully available to enjoy QAL!!! I am so excited. I had already planned for Dallas, but now I get to go to Houston too. Just went to the venue's site and they still have great seats! So I whipped out my credit card and Houston, here we come!!! Now to find a hotel room down there...  |

I think the after party jam is the most likely place for Adam to perform - if he does. I also still can't imagine he would not at least attend the last show and party.

Since it seem almost certain that Brian and Roger will be part of the after curtain call performance of BoRhap, I think there is a possibility that Adam might sing a bit of this song. It would be a great promo moment and since it is after the show, but part of the show, it would be perfect and not disrupt anything. The show has run for 12 years, 4600 performances.
For anyone not familiar with this show... Brian and Roger often perform at premieres and special events of WWRY.
After the curtain call, there is a performance of Bohemian Rhapsody. It is done differently in different theaters but this is the song that Brian and Roger appear in.
At the Dominion Theatre (London show) when Bohemian Rhapsody is performed with Brian and Roger, Brian comes up from a trap in the stage with a lot of smoke and performs the solo right before the opera section. Then the opera section begins, he walks off stage. Doing the headbanging section Roger comes up on the Heartbreak Hotel platform and Brian runs back on stage They perform the headbanging section with the cast and the low key section. They end it all with a big ending before the stage goes into blackout.
I think there is a real possibility that because it is such a special occasion, Adam could sing a bit of BoRhap in this final number -- probably in the opera section between Brian's solo and Roger's section.

interesting dynamics - is Perth not part of OZ anymore? too far to even bother mentioning?  ladymaserati - great to have you back posting! 
 
LOL depends on the paper and the mood. Lots of Australians feel a bit like Perth and WA the way US people feel about Texas... :-) |
