Are you sure? This is an American Company. www.trucknroll.com/Their trucks are configured for US sizes and for driving on the right. Need to check whether they have UK branch. BrB ETA: US and Canada only, according to their web page. Yeah, they look 'foreign' to me. Doesn't make any sense to airlift trucks that you can hire. Driving on the right might not be the important factor - they used the trucks to drive mostly in continental Europe. And you can drive those in the UK too - just keep on left lane. But big trucks are big trucks - if you're not an expert.

Haha, never would dare to challenge Gelly in matters of clothes or shoes. Trucks? Different matter. Game on. And I was not at Hammersmith. So, I am not operating from a 'visual memory', never would bet against Gelly there. Just coming from a logical place. It's a different trucking industry in UK and EU, makes no sense that a UK band, familiar with the music biz trucking industry and having done concerts all over UK for 30+ years, would hire a US company for their trucking needs around Europe/UK in 2012. Just not buying that.

So the lorry is the same as the ones in Hammersmith:) I'd say it was a good guess:) Because there is no way other musicians use the same means of transportation, right;) *snort Big trucks used in tours to transport equipment, duh. Perhaps outside Hammersmith is the only place she's seen trucks like that? I have never seen those kind of wheels anywhere - but snort away if you wish. BTW I don't think your suggestion of them being in Chicago is correct. There are three coffeeshops by the same name in LA. Deducing from the other pics they are somewhere between LAX and Venice (YT building is close to LAX, the area has those hangar type buildings, the coffeeshop is in Venice). And I'm just grinning... Chicago? Coffeeshops? Don't remember talking about that. I think you've mistaken me for someone else:) They better be young and hot!!! Well, it's either that or early dementia's come a-knocking on my early thirties door:) Yay:)

C'mon people, why are you harping on Gelly? It's twitter (short and quick messages etc.) and she never said they are 'the same' or 'exactly the same' - only 'these massive trucks'.

But I think we all are trying to assemble a larger picture than the parties involved are giving us. Sometimes we succeed and sometimes not.

I don't understand what this conversation is about. Are those real trucks that someone just took a picture of in LA or someplace, that actually have some relevance to QAL? Because that would be sort of exciting to look at. Or speculative trucks that have to do with who is the biggest superfan somehow or what?

Harping? nobody is harping. But your smilies got it right. All in good fun. Have no idea what is happening on twitter, not there right now. But whatever is happening there, clearly time to move on here.

Just thinking about the Queen tour and what it must mean for Adam to be part of this epic show. The lighting, the costumes, the songs, the best band on the planet .. To sing with the best and be considered the best voice since Freddie..Is Adam over the moon or is it just me over the moon for him.. I tear up every time I think of how excited and proud I am of Adam..My granddaughter is going off to USC Film School and a get a lump in my throat thinking of her growing up and leaving..The lump in my throat turns to TEARS when I think of Adam.. Where are my priorities.. Geez... Aw, Mellie! Same feelings

I don't think the "fun" part comes across very well.
Juniemoon...I assumed those are the actual trucks in the rehearsal area for QAL. Perhaps I'm wrong?....
