I was selected for a jury. Trial all week, and tonight had to go to an event, so just now quickly skimming few pages here and there on this thread to get an idea of how Chicago went. Noticed Adam and the crown. Random observation: Adam is actually wearing a coronet, not a crown. Coronets are considered lesser crowns, for noble men or women, dukes, etc. Actual crowns have arches over the top. They are for kings and queens. Freddie wore a crown. Probably the coronet was chosen just because it looked cool on Adam... peace&love [laughs] I learn something new on ATOP every day!! Thanks Hoppers for bringing this here so I didn't have to go hunting it! More importantly, thanks nonotme for the enlightenment! That's exactly what I was asking when we first saw the tattoo, why is the crown different. Not knowing it's called coronet I couldn't find info where this type of head pieces are used. Then I dismissed it as a possible 'Disney thing' like 'pretty over authentic' and perhaps not wanting to mess around with Freddie or real royalty or something. If with all this abundance of pics and videos I ever have a moment I can find out more about it, great!

I am so very very damn proud to be a fan of
Adam Fucking Lambert
He is now in the throws of his life long ambition, and I don't think he could have ever dreamed this big. He is now the undisputed King of Rock and Roll and King/Queen of Queen.
Reviews have been superb. Words cannot describe this: monumentous, (not even a word) stupendous, epic is a major fail, just not a big enough word. Incredible, unbelievable, amazing uberly (another non word) out of this world. Words fail.......
Can't wait for Mom's words to come forth......
Sadly, I will be vacationing next week, but will try to catch up when I can. July 9 & 10 in Texas can't come soon enough. So thrilled for everyone that got to be there, and thanks to all who have brought the pics, vids, tweets, and recaps.
Special thanks to Lynnville for amazing stream, which I have not watched. I am really trying hard to not know it all before I get to the Houston concert. Great to see all the familiar names and faces here, I have missed you all.
Rock on Adamtopians!!!!!!

My heart is so full. Sometimes I just feel so foolish that this wonderful boy has come to mean so much in my life. Friends and family just don't get it. I see him as Paula did, iconic. He moves me. I like to look at him still or moving. Sometimes I think I am a little cuckoo, then I hear him sing and I realize that I am not, that the talent, the love he spreads, it is real.
So grateful for so many things right now. I am here and can enjoy him. He is here and fabulous. Roger and Brian not only see and feel what I do (I believe they do, anyway), but they are going to have a wonderful time feeling the feels from all their fans, live, and capping an already incredible career with the stupendous outpouring of love in all directions, audience to them, them to the audience and back and forth from Adam to them.
So grateful I get to see that, both in person and from all the people who understand my hunger: those who video and those who recap and those who give us pictures. I know those people have also waited eagerly for those things after a concert, and they understand as they hold those cameras and phones with aching arms that it means so much to all of us who can't be at every show. That we can be present through their efforts. Thanks to every one of them.
Now I'm Here? Perfect, perfect. perfect. Yes you are.
And the mic glitch in the beginning? Have to say it fascinates me because his true professionalism is so breathtaking to me. We, the audience, matter to him. He covers and handles and goes on with as little disruption as he possibly can. And in an awkward situation he can even smile at the sound guy who brings him a working microphone. ILHSFM.
Also grateful that so many people will see his magic. His lungs of steel, his balls of steel. If we can't have Freddie, then for me no other singer could combine every single thing necessary to create this exact show. From the very first, Adam has known that is IS a show. With costumes and lighting and moves and joy. That's how you do it. You are a generous gifted performer, Adam.
And you ain't bad on the eyes either. Goodby baggy diaper pants, you are vanquished forever. The back view of the white pants? Yes. The vamping on the couch? Yes. The macho butchness and the leather? Yes. The moves? Yes, forever and ever. Spin that arm fringe buddy, shine on in that diamond studded leopard suit. And leave it open at the chest while you're at it. You are gorgeous and fun and blessed beyond measure. And it is better still because you honor it and work for it.
So full of gratitude and feels. And you and Queen are at the heart of it. Enjoy, baby boy. The world is yours. As is my heart. Thank you for all the feels and the eye candy and the lovely sunshine.
And Roger? I am developing a major crush on you. You brought me to tears with Love of My Life. The song, the audience reaction and participation, thinking about how much this must mean to you, how it represents so much of your life and artistry, how you must miss Freddie, how happy it must make you to have Adam... well, just thank you. Thank you for that moment.

[puts mod hat on for moment]
Hey guys, can you please make sure that ALL REVIEWS also come to the main news thread? This tour is definitely news, and reviews can get lost in the 70+ pages of concerts threads.
Please include link with reviews so traffic can go where it deserves.
THANK YOU !! -HSM
[runs back to RL, such that it is]
ETA: There's at least two newspaper reviews. I have a meeting in 10 minutes, or I'd bring them over myself. But/so if someone else can grab and transfer that would be awesome. Thx!

Huge thanks to Lynneville for the stream! You rock!!!
The first night is special and it was such a treat to get to hear it. I stayed up all night as the concert started little after 4 am (luckily its Midsummer eve today) feeling that I have to know what songs they do and read twitter comments, see first pics etc. But the best surprise was being able to experience the music first hand too. .......and it was unbelievably awesome!!!!!!!!!!
