Love what this Japanese Queen/Freddie fan says:
凛々 @rinrin_nu 23m 相対評価と絶対評価をごっちゃにしちゃだめだよ。アダムを誉めたからってフレディを否定することにはならないし、アダムを否定したからってフレディの評価が上がるわけじゃないよ。
Rough translation: Can't mix relative and absolute ratings (like grading on a curve vs absolute grading?). Just because you praise Adam, it doesn't mean you are denying Freddie, and even if you put down Adam it won't make Freddie any better.

You can now download the FLAC audio, plus the mp3 audio from SoundCloud, plus lots of videos. The FLAC audio is split into individual songs so that no file is over 43 MB and you do not have to merge any files after downloading. FLAC audio gives the very best audio quality and plays very nicely in the free VLC Media Player ( www.videolan.org/). tinyurl.com/oebu9o2or copy & paste into web browser address bar: mega.co.nz/#F!bIFxFJAK!0AYXPT312aSYhE0RStFscg Look for "Audio" file, then "side1" and "side2" contains the FLAC files. You can make a CD from these with the right software. ITunes does not read FLAC files, but they can be converted to WAV files which ITunes does read without any loss of quality. Let me know if you want instructions. I need a step by step tutorial on how to do this. I want to learn how to do this, and I have a feeling this is a good one to be placed on CD. I would pay you to do this. But also I would love to learn how. Instructions for burning FLAC audio files to CD on a Windows PC:Download & install a software that is capable of burning FLAC files to CD (both of the listed programs will burn many types of audio files besides FLAC): Commercial: PowerISO, $30 www.poweriso.com/Free: AnyBurn version 2.3 (Do NOT click on ANY GREEN buttons on the download site!!! They will install junk on your PC. Everything you need to click is in BLUE!!! Click the BLUE "Download" button on left of 1st page. On 2nd page, click the BLUE "External mirror 1 [EXE]" link and not the big arrow above this which is sometimes green and sometimes blue.) www.softpedia.com/get/CD-DVD-Tools/Data-CD-DVD-Burning/Free-Any-Burn.shtmlVideo instructions for AnyBurn: www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZ5LU2nB8dwMy instruction for using AnyBurn: 1) Open AnyBurn 2) Put CD in CD burner BEFORE next step or might not find CD 3) Click 2nd button on Left, "Burn Audio CD from mp3/flac/ape..." 4) Make sure "Burning drive:" shows the correct CD device or use dropdown box to find correct one. 5) Click "Add" button on bottom left. 6) In the file browser window that pops up, navigate to where the audio files are located. Click on files you want to add to burn list. Click "Add" button. 7) If files are not in right order in list, click on a file and use the "Move up" & "Move down" buttons to move that file up or down in the list. 8) Click "Next" button. 9) Keep default checks, but again check that the correct CD burning device is selected. 10) Click the "Burn Now". Note 1: AnyBurn burns the songs to CD, but does not burn the song titles. If you open up the burned CD in iTunes, it will just display "Track 01", etc., for the song titles. I THINK PowerISO will burn the song titles to CD, but I have not tested this. Note 2: If you are working on a Windows account which just has basic local user privileges, then you will need to supply the Administrator password during the installation of AnyBurn. (This is the way you SHOULD be working to minimize the risk of getting a virus on your Windows PC!!) The first time that you use the file browser to locate files in AnyBurn, the default location will be a folder in the Admin My Documents area. This is NOT the My Documents folder that belongs to your local user account. You need to navigate out of this folder and back to your local user account My Documents folder. To do this, navigate to the "C:\" drive and then to "Users". Find your local account name under "Users" and then the "My Documents" or "My Music" folder inside of this, or where ever you put the audio files. The next time, AnyBurn will remember the last place you navigated to. Also, I will copy these instructions to the tech help thread.

I am so glad that I stepped out of my comfort zone and traveled to Chicago. I kept hearing a voice in my head saying that missing Chicago would be a regret I could never forgive. Special thanks to Vaiouser for meeting me at the airport – the popcorn – and the wonderful day spent on Wednesday touring downtown Chicago (except for the occasional downpour). Sorry I missed dinner before the concert – so glad I saw you before the show. A special thanks for helping me find a Chicago Fire Department so I could buy me nephew a CFD T Shirt. He is a fireman and I try to bring him home a shirt whenever I travel. To glamtealady who was still in Florida that I called for the hotel number as I huddled in the doorway of a building 3 blocks from my hotel while a raging thunder and lightning storm was happening so they could send the shuttle to rescue me. To another Barbara that walked with me to catch the shuttle back to the hotel after hanging out at the United Center hoping for a glimpse of Adam. We talked of Adam, Glam Nation, touring, and Europe. Will be emailing soon for some information. And to Alley Cat from a group on Facebook. As we got off the shuttle and were walking to the venue we found out that we both had traveled alone and lived about 7 miles from each other. She had been one of the lucky winners for IHeart on Monday. It is so amazing how Adam connects us in the universe of things. To all the others I met on the way – thanks so much for sharing your love and enthusiasm for Adam and his journey. So many have commented about the concert, the electricity of the audience, the joyfulness that was in the air, the glorious music, and the sense of justification for the hard work and effort that has lead not only Adam, but fans of both Queen and Adam to come together and celebrate. I will not belabor or repeat but share a few things that I “felt”. Special thanks to needacoke that sold me a fantastic ticket. I was at the “thrust” and OMG - I will never recover. The “butch couch” and Adam fanning himself. Here is my recollection of the day: The air at the United Center was as thick with excitement as the humidity in the Chicago air had been for the past 2 days. The day before the concert there was a huge thunder and lightning storm that was foreboding yet in some ways was fitting to herald the arrival of Queen with Adam Lambert to Chicago. Brian’s post of the glowing Hancock Tower was like a beacon drawing Queen and Adam fans to Chicago. As the crowd filled the United Center – so did the electricity in the air. Each change in the music prior to the curtain going up brought roars from the crowd. The huge curtain with the Queen logo moved with the movement of the crowd’s energy. There were several people around me with who were Queen fans and had traveled great distance to enjoy the spectacle. The cheers became deafening as the curtain disappeared and the adrenaline rush was incredible. I have almost no recollection of those first few minutes. They are buried somewhere in my sub consciousness and will surface at some point. (Thank heaven for videos). The pictures, recaps, news stories, reviews, videos say it all much better than I could. Being there was like a musical revival for the soul. True love of the music, performance art at its’ best, the voice of an angel to give life to the songs and lift them to the rafters, the coming together of generations to celebrate the music – such an incredible experience. I am so looking forward to this journey and to meeting many kindred souls on the way. I have a few more concerts to go and am seriously trying to figure out how to add another one (or two).
