Awesome recaps! Thank you all! I know these were probably posted, but it can't hurt to post again: An on-going compilation of all YT links - bookmark-worthy: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hTd0EWgCkXKzXYgtmGEH3D97iekni0LjPGtI6hlHG9U/htmlview?usp=sharing&sle=trueSomeone found the crown here: www.crownmasters.com/collections/mens-crowns/products/king-gustav-mens-crownSaskatoon: not really half the floor, more like 1/6th but unfortunately mostly around the stage. They held those seats as VIP for too long, so it will sure feel weird to have the seats around the stage empty. Perhaps they'll allow peeps to move up? But we still have two days to sell, so the reviews and buzz could move some tickets! Winnipeg: sold pretty well in the end! The latest count came in at 92% sold! But again, many empty seats right around the thrust. Who knows, may be by the concert these will be sold. Everyone going to the show tonight and especially my dear friends (if you are reading) - ENJOY AND RECAP!!!!

Thanks Q3 for the recap of all recaps! I clearly should have done more research on the United Center before choosing my seat... and I LIVE in Chicagoland. I am so glad some of the videos captured that soaring sound. Everyone, please keep writing those recaps. I want them all!

There seemed to be sound delay issues from the end of the catwalk up to the stage. I thought it was most evident when Rog and Tiger did their drum "battle". It seems as if the wireless technology is very tricky and, I think, transmission is a bitch. The sound has to go from the singer to the microphone (transmitter) to a receiver backstage. From there, it travels to a mic to line amplifier which is wired to a mixing board. The sound is then mixed with all the other sounds coming to the board and then wired to the speakers in the arena. This same path is also followed in reverse for the ear pieces. Have things have shorter paths and some things have longer paths. This is my basic understanding of how it works but it seems that delays would be unavoidable. Yes they are, also this is often why sound is muddy when you are closer to the stage because you hear some of the instruments and vocals live and some from the speakers. It is unavoidable and tricky in really huge arenas and stadiums as delay varies depending like you said on the distances signal has to travel. This is why the head sound guy is a vital piece of the puzzle in a live show and mixing sound is almost as much of an art as the performance on the stage. If you google "joe o'herlihy sound engineer" and read some of the articles you can get an idea of how complicated sound for live shows can be.

IDK where the 92% for Winnepeg comes from but I would say more like somewhere in the 80-85% range. Oh man! The price of the seats around the stage at Saskatoon are only $146! If only I lived near there! For the price of a nice dinner out, I could be sitting right at the thrust! Damn! My guess on the sales here is that it is just not a large enough area to draw enough people for 2 big concerts within a few days of each other. And the Saskatoonians chose to see Cher! They very well might have people move up! That'd be great!

So Rufus plays drums on TYMD? And Roger is doing the secondary percussion? Do the casual Queen fans all know it's Roget's son?
