Just toweling off and taking a short break from the torrid From-Here-To-Eternity-type wallowing in the undulating waves and crevice-seeking sand that I've indulged in repeatedly here in the shallow end ever since Thursday evening. My fingers and toes are prunes. The vids! The photos! I'm Spent! Oh, and I wanted to show off my new avi. (Hope no one has claimed it.) A little sad that I don't know how to make it...erm...bigger....

Isn't it Crazy Little Thing Called Love? The whole song is pure rockabilly. happcat14- Brian May is consistently on all of the lists of top guitar players I have ever seen- I don't know where this guy gets the idea that he isn't. Maybe because he might not be as much a "household name" in the USA as Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen, etc., but rock and guitar people sure know who he is. www.rollingstone.com/music/lists/100-greatest-guitarists-20111123/brian-may-20111122Oh duh it was Radio Gaga in Chicago and was more of a doo-wop ending. Buders glad to hear that about Brian May. His guitar sound is unbelievable. I know. When I heard that ending I said OMG now he is channeling Frankie Vallee.

Does anyone know if Gelly has identified the Killer Queen boots yet? My daughter wants to know!

Someone asked earlier, not sure who, about close up pics of the shoes Adam was wearing. Here are pics of 2 that he wore, I couldn't find a close up of the boots with the gold heels or the gold shoes he wore with the leopard suit.

Theosgma - My best wishes for you and yours...I hope you get to rock out for your mom in Vegas :D Talon, Talon, Talon ... help me understand please: the Rainbow DVD/CD/whatever is coming out; the album with the stuff from the archives + MJ is coming out. The boys are touring, so the fans can enjoy the playing and the solo numbers... Everyone should be happy one would think... so....what is the reason for all the anxiety now? Just out of habit? Or for the single purpose entertain us, the observers? LOL. Actually I think there is FAR less anxiety now. There are a few people who are going to go all out and attack no matter what. Some are actual AL trolls and not really Queen fans, and some just enjoy getting a reaction. But if you look...it's far less attacking on any of the sites. It's more of a hit and run with the fans coming in, saying they don't like it and then leaving it. The only "anxiety" I see is that they are concerned that Brian will lose his mind and have a Freddie/Adam duet on Love Kills on the new album. (i don't think they will and quite honestly I hope not...I like QAL but I'd prefer to keep QAL and Queen as separate entities so to speak....I'd rather get a new Queen album with the old tracks. If after A3, QAL wants to record an album I'd be okay with that as well....just keep them as separate things... I never need to add anything to this informative place but I can't go any longer without thanking the participants here. You are all so amazing in so many different ways. You satiate me every day. Thank you so much.
Q3 and talon, thank you for giving me Queen. As someone said earlier "I'd leave my husband for Dr. Bri." I love him so much. So thank you, what a gift you've given me. Favorite moment of the tour so far: His "Starchild Warrior Queen" pose with the crown. Glad you've enjoyed it :D In some circles he is a god....but in others he's very underrated. He doesn't do the speed thrash thing and amaze you with how fast he plays (which goes over big), AND Queen was not limited to hard rock so he didn't have as many rockin' tracks as some of the others. If you ask guitarists who play they all pay him homage, but to a lot of guitar fans - they don't realize just how good he is because he's not quite as flashy... Oh duh it was Radio Gaga in Chicago and was more of a doo-wop ending. Buders glad to hear that about Brian May. His guitar sound is unbelievable. I know. When I heard that ending I said OMG now he is channeling Frankie Vallee. Are you referring to the whoo-ooo-oo--ooo--ooh part during the extended playing of the final note? If so, he may have simply been channeling Roger Taylor. Roger often closed the track that way or at least by doing a high falsetto you--oooooooooooooh!
