I think last night i just realized something in the pants department. Bet you Adam switched to these tight, tight leggin type pants because he didn't have enough time to change, for the Encore. Would not be surprised if those leopard suit pants are going right over these. Which is why they look like they are lying funny to us! What do you guys think? I think you might be right, although you probably just peel them off - still time is of the essence. What I want to know is how he gets them on in the first place (wish I were a fly on the wall ) when he must be ..... ahem...... sweaty......

Glad for confirmation on "Body Language". I thought so! Hoping for a really good recording of that solo. ** The video of Roger will surface. The streamers need to stay fixed in one place or it becomes distorted (both audio and video). So yes, so far the streamers have been Adam fans but it is a challenge to stream these concerts because of the set design and choreo/movement of players around it. Particularly Adam and Brian are all over the place. ** There was a lot of video shot last night. It will surface over the next week or so. I'm dead center 1st row of balcony for Vegas #1. I was thinking of doing whole show video. Not zooming camera in, just framing the entire stage. Thought I could use the rail to rest my arms on Would there be interst in video shot from that angle?? And can a giant file like that would be be uploadable? Yes!!! I would give anything for a video like that! See you in Vegas :D

www.gigcity.ca/2014/06/25/review-killer-queen-defies-the-cynics/REVIEW: Killer Queen defies the cynicsPosted on June 25, 2014 By Derek Owen When you get as big as Queen – all 250 million or so records sold – you can do whatever you want. And that includes hiring a new lead singer from one of the most popular television shows in the world – and then defying all cynical expectations that they’re just doing this for the money. Two already extremely wealthy (and eccentric) Englishmen named Brian May and Roger Taylor – Queen’s remaining two original members after Freddie Mercury’s death in 1991 and John Deacon’s retirement from music six years afterwards – had other ideas for this new Queen + Adam Lambert tour. For a packed house at Rexall Place Tuesday night, they played music the fans wanted for half the night, and for the other half, they did whatever the hell they wanted. And it worked. Lambert, a 2009 American Idol runner-up, is gayest blade Zorro ever wielded. While his voice had none of the edge that Mercury’s had, sounding way too clean to be convincing, his performance style fit the material. The singer interpreted the theatrical components of these classic songs exactly the way they were written, regardless of the goofball outfits he was wearing at the moment. The night started with bevy of old 70′s standards, from the Metallica-covered rifftastic Stone Cold Crazy, with Lambert spitting out the rapid fire lyrics like the old Mercury machine gun pumped out on their 1974 album Sheer Heart Attack. Soon came the over-the-top Killer Queen, featuring Lambert camped out in an outlandish costume, splayed out on this exotic couch trying to outvamp Frank-N-Furter minus the makeup. He sang pedestrian and plodding versions of Another One Bites The Dust and I Want It All, where both lacked the feeling of the original, and brought torch-song theatrical flair to Somebody To Love. ..more (long article)

I cannot believe that the article was all ///wow - they pulled in as many people as Buble/// I know it's a complimentary article, but if QAL couldn't do better than Buble they should call it a day. (sorrry if I offend any Buble fans - obviously, I am not one ) I hear you! Maybe it will help if you think of it this way: that Buble is the equivalent of McDonalds. Not the best, but certainly a HUGE seller.

Oh, no! Now the official Stone Cold Crazy video from Winnipeg is made private... boo! NOOOOOOO! I love that video. Did anyone download it, I would like need it for my own personal audio/visual sanity. That was a great video with clarity and overall view - perfect for FB which I was doing. Well, there were some videos from afar that show some of the effects - I just have to find them now for my Winnipeg post to get some variety as Chicago ones were close-ups.

Thats an interesting review.. the reviewer spent all his time slamming Adam, but forgot to comment on B & R solo portions. That speaks a lot to me.

And outrageous costumes - practically his everyday gear, thank you very much. Some of the reviews are pretty funny.

I wish I could set you up at another QAL venue, in an upper-level seat with a hand rail so we could get the GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS, complete with the catwalk and the entire set and lasers and disco ball and light show!!!
