Great contrast redpanda - I also love the vamping leopard suit and crown photos from Chicago in contrast to bad ass dude. Quite the progression.
I am betting that it is water in the champagne bottle - doubt Adam would be drinking alcohol with his current demands and schedule (not good for the vocal chords) and this is a fun way to hydrate :-)

I'm putting this here for some help with an in depth analysis of a nuance moment. I think I have mentioned before that I am a sucker for man who winks. A lost art, to my mind. In the video below, Adam turns to Brian at ~9:55 and I think maybe he winks. Tell me what you think. Yes, it is true, I find myself unable to climb out of the rabbit hole. Oooh... that is a nuance of a nuance LOL But I couldn't help myself, I have this great app with which you can scroll through the frames of a video one by one. So I studied all 70something frames of this moment. And I haven't been able to find one in which Adam actually has his eye closed (alhtough it is a bit blurry, so I'm not sure). But if you wacht 9.55 / 9.56 as a whole it definitely feels like a wink. It's a great mystery.  It is fascinating to see how his facial expression changes in these few seconds though. From focussed and in the music to this little one sided smile that warms my heart. Maybe there are some other nuances from this show to go study. Any suggestions? |

Queenzone/QOL poster inu liger returned from Edmonton with a great mini-review - a full review to come later. He stated that Adam had a few major lyrical flubs (on par with some of PR's famed ones in South Africa) and that Brian had a few glitches towards the beginning but as the show went on it got better and better. He also stated that Adam was absolutely fn amazing and that he had done his homework and has been improving with each show. He also stated that he had a "WOW" moment during Show Must Go On. AND he confirmed the bass solo and stated it included bits of Staying Power, Don't Try Suicide and wait for it Q3....Body Language  He also said Roger kind of reprised his drum/bass solo of 2008 where he strikes the bass with his sticks. I hope some of the streams catch this next time! (I'm not complaining - I know she's an AL fan and not necessarily a Queen fan...it's frustrating as a viewer but I know a Queen fan could do the same...) BUT on the other hand inu as a major Queen fan DID post a full audio recording which reportedly is fantastic inu's full audio recordingAgain do NOT share as mp3 or I'll have to ask to have it taken down. If you want to convert it to mp3 for personal use, fine, but do not re-share it as mp3....Thanks! |

OH and iirc, inu is going to two (?) further shows? I think Calgary and possibly MSG....and he's going to record those as well....

I miss your daily Queen tutorial. I have been making my way through your Queen thread. It is incredible. Hey thanks for asking. Well we are IN the new house and out of the old house which is the first big step. Unfortuately my house still looks like a bad episode of Hoarders It doesn't help that we are going on vacation on Friday to Ocean City MD so it's not going to quite be done anytime soon. STill looking for all my computer parts because we ran out of time when packing and began doing the miscellaneous box packing I've been doing the laptop thing luckily! I'm excited you're going back to the Queen thread! I'm ALMOST caught up to 2014....I'm in 2013 and while I had to stop this past week, when I get back from vacation it should be back to a daily update there and we'll be caught up! In other pieces of interest, I began listening to inu's d/l and it is QUITE good. A *touch* soft, but clear as day.... ADAM: "Down in the brothel, just Freddie and me..."
