Federal Appeals Court Strikes Down Utah's Same-Sex Marriage Ban

For the first time, a federal appeals court has struck down a state's ban on same-sex marriage.
A three-judge panel of the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver voted 2-1 that Utah's ban is unconstitutional.
"We hold that the Fourteenth Amendment protects the fundamental right to marry, establish a family, raise children, and enjoy the full protection of a state's marital laws. A state may not deny the issuance of a marriage license to two persons, or refuse to recognize their marriage, based solely upon the sex of the persons in the marriage union," the court said.

Had not thought of this (I claim red shirt brain haze) but you are spot on. Sort of gives the unknowing public a false impression, right? Idol 5 years ago and now a tour with Queen, when there was a lot in-between.

Kamar...I've thought about the spewing fountain as well. LOL. We all know how Adam's tongue works. Perhaps some here have a tongue similar to Adam's....I don't. I can't roll my tongue, nor lift the sides up and down or depress the center like he can do when he sings. So I imagine he's able to form a little valley/channel with his tongue that allows the water to be projected in that controlled spew/cascade. That, along with that huge lung capacity enables him to project like a fountain. That's my thoughts anyway. LOLOL.
I want to know how Adams tongue works... 0.o       Pretty talented IMO . And no I have no experiences with tongues whatsoever but I recognize talent when I see it XD |

The kid who went on AI and auditioned with Bo Rhap is now fronting for QUEEN. If they talk about all his other accomplishments, it dilutes the fairy tale. In this case, because the story is waaaaay cool, I will excuse the repeated mentions of AI. After all, if they had shown Rock With You rather than BoRhap on the audition episode, all this might not have happened. |

It kind of amazes me that reporters covering Adam and Queen only refer to Adam's American Idol stint.. Never talk about what he's done since Idol.. like Two successful albums,world tour Glam Nation,Grammy nominee,actor on Glee...well you know, preaching to the choir. Adam is a success story in himself .. This Queen and Adam concert tour the cherry on top so far in his amazing career.Just to say after Idol Adam wasn't exactly idle.  at least the "gay" opening is gone! |

I'll take it because they go on and say how great a bad ass singer/performer AFL is proving to be and the show is well worth going to see! |

Queenzone/QOL poster inu liger returned from Edmonton with a great mini-review - a full review to come later. He stated that Adam had a few major lyrical flubs (on par with some of PR's famed ones in South Africa) and that Brian had a few glitches towards the beginning but as the show went on it got better and better. He also stated that Adam was absolutely fn amazing and that he had done his homework and has been improving with each show. He also stated that he had a "WOW" moment during Show Must Go On. AND he confirmed the bass solo and stated it included bits of Staying Power, Don't Try Suicide and wait for it Q3....Body Language  He also said Roger kind of reprised his drum/bass solo of 2008 where he strikes the bass with his sticks. I hope some of the streams catch this next time! (I'm not complaining - I know she's an AL fan and not necessarily a Queen fan...it's frustrating as a viewer but I know a Queen fan could do the same...) BUT on the other hand inu as a major Queen fan DID post a full audio recording which reportedly is fantastic inu's full audio recordingAgain do NOT share as mp3 or I'll have to ask to have it taken down. If you want to convert it to mp3 for personal use, fine, but do not re-share it as mp3....Thanks! Talon, Does he mind having it rehosted as a non-torrent in the original FLAC since many of use do not do torrents? And tell him thanks from all of us!!! |
