Thank you wingsofbutteflies, mirages and popalock!! I luv, luv your recaps, makes me feel like i was there! Yes, thank you all for your recaps! I'm trying to catch up, and maybe it's already been discussed, but does anyone know what the woman and Adam said, or have video of the interaction between the "flasher" on the stage and Adam? There are so many different videos now that I might have missed it.. Thanks! Just caught up with the thread. Not word by word but here is the summary as I recall it: It was at the beginning of call & response where Adam went to the on-stage VIP section and ask them to sing after they did he said 'that suck', he then said to the woman with cleavage that 'with tits like that she should be able to sing', She wasn't really flashing but the camera zoom into her bosom and she said 'she can't sing' so Adam said he will sing for her and started the improv on the 'lovely Bosom and he can say this because he is gay' etc. He then went on to ask the audience to follow his singing and said ' Calgary, you've got soul'. I was also in both the Edmonton and Calgary shows, Calgary made people go through the airport type security scan gates which made the queue to go inside very slow. I agree that Edmonton energy was higher at the beginning but Calgary brought it home in the second half. Particularly toward the end of BR, the entire audience stood up and didn't sit back down until the show ended, they were stomping and clapping We Will Rock You before the Encore and only stopped when Roger's first drum beat of WWRY (Pandemonia indeed! in Edmonton most sat down again after the band came back for encore) . Although both my seats are ok (aclgary- Sec 113 row 8, Edmonton-Sec 207 row 8), the sound was better for me in Calgary and perhaps this helped gave me the impression that Calgary concert was slightly better. Also Adam and the band seemed to be more relax after their day off so, more banter and the concert was about 10mins longer and perhaps it was my imagination but more high notes maybe!! As for the glass half empty FLD(TM bridgeymah), I leave them to stare at their half empty glasses while I enjoy drinking what I have got. I absolutely refuse to let a few nay-Sayers hash my happiness. Force field up |

Finally finished my post for part 2. Queen + Adam Lambert, The Tale of Three Cities, part 2. t.co/Sq4X7nhNByIn Vancouver right now. The rain has stopped so I think we will head out for some fresh air. We have the perfect location across from Rogers Arena. it was a real pain trying to upload my photos for some reason, that's what I get for not bringing my laptop and relying on my iPad. Where is the after party tonight??? LOL |
