I am thinking these were some "special tickets" because when I checked this morning there was no option for VIP tickets...so who knows, in any case these are very few anyway.... Nica, What you're saying sounds true. All venues save seats for the family and friends of performers. So maybe these are "released seats" that Queen and Adam aren't going to use.

U H H @uhhuhhermusic 2m We traversed 10 mountain ranges to see @adamlambert with @queenwillrock tonight in Calgary. Can't wait to see this!  Is that Cam, Adam's keyboard player? Loved her! Great morning news report! I think she's a Glambert!  Cam and her mom are both Glamberts! |

I thought so too but suddenly, floor tickets are showing up. IMO, these are unsold VIP tickets that are being sold last minute at regular ticket prices. I think that a lot of venues do this because getting something for a seat is better than nothing. ETA: just checked again...you can get 8 seats in row 31, a few in row 30... I am thinking they ADDED a couple of rows to the back of the floor set up... because the TM map shows only 30 rows for QAL concert set up, so row 31 is obviously new to increase the capacity! They have been doing this at many concerts -- they added 2 rows to the floor section at the back of the front. There were some unsold skyboxes (up high and $141 a seat) and blocks of tickets on Level 1 and Level 2 about an hour ago. But nothing on the floor. I think this will be close to sold out at showtime -- which is going to be late. |
