I have noticed in many photos how flexible Adam's fingers are, especially his thumbs. Now I see it here in his index finger. Wonder if he's double-jointed?  Ooh that reminds me... runs to search for those "Bendy Adam" GIFs and pix from GNT before taking swan dive into the shallow end!  There was a big debate on QueenZone.com about Adam giving the crowd the finger -- photographs were analyzed, and it was determined to be an index finger. So they moved on to other major issues with the concert. Would you want Adam to spray you with spit? (Hell yes!) Would Freddie have done it? (Probably not! He did many things on stage but he was never theatrical like Adam is. Freddie was always Freddie. Adam shapeshifts to the music.) In the meantime, back the the real world, Cassie has pointed out how Adam is singing better than ever, which does not seem possible, but he clear went back to school. I want to point out the his poses are better than ever. Did he also just get a PhD in being sexy? |

Paul Rodgers was interviewed for a segment on Global BC ( province of British Columbia) news last night. The interview was likely done earlier this week...... and there was not a single mention of Queen playing in Vancouver this Saturday. I thought it strange as his time with them was discussed, and wondered whether there might have been a request that it not be mentioned? Here is a link to the clip....... globalnews.ca/video/1417034/squires-take-paul-rodgers-is-the-voice/I would just about bet that it was stipulated that the topics of Adam Lambert and Queen's current tour were off limits. Because, frankly, that is what most people are more interested in. Bigger names to the general public than Paul Rodgers. No slight intended. I cannot imagine an interviewer NOT asking about it unless told it was off limites. I don't blame them. Paul is going on the air to promote HIS thing, not a previous collaboration (that both Brian and Roger acknowledge was not as successful as they maybe hoped. Certainly not as good a fit as with Adam). I gotta also believe that Paul HAS to know how successful this new partnership is, and how much attention it is getting. He also, if he is honest with himself, has to acknowledge how great Adam is as Queen's frontman. Not many people can be gracious in acknowledging that someone does a better job than they in something they love. I applaud Paul for not gettin sucked into making a comment one way or the other. |

For the detail ninjas who can analyze frame by frame what Adam is doing...
Someone made a comment that the champagne bottle was probably filled with water instead of wine, because it would be foolish for Adam to drink alcohol like that during a concert (not good for the voice). I question whether he is actually DRINKING any of it, or just taking it into his mouth and fountaining it back out. There is a video showing him "guzzling" it, and, looking at his throat, I can't see that he is swallowing it. Maybe one swallow? What do y'all think? Sorry, I cannot find the video now, but I think it was earlier in this thread????

Someone made a comment that the champagne bottle was probably filled with water instead of wine, because it would be foolish for Adam to drink alcohol like that during a concert (not good for the voice). I question whether he is actually DRINKING any of it, or just taking it into his mouth and fountaining it back out. If it was champagne, it would be fizzing and foaming all over the place, especially after swinging it upside down to take a gulp.  But I also would like to know how he turns himself into a human Old Faithful!  |
