ummm, so I'm just going to pop in here and throw the conversation in a totally different direction. What have you all been wearing?? I'm at a loss as to what to wear to the San Jose show next week... I know about all of Adam's suggestions, but the truth is, I no longer own those types of clothes. If you are on the floor, in an arena, I always suggest jeans and closed toed shoes. I ALWAYS wear boots for GA or floor seating. For Vegas and Mohegan Sun, I am going Glammed up! The crowd is mostly people in t-shirts. But the crowd is really mixed. I think that Las Vegas will have more Glammed Up people. I will be dressing up for Vegas! It is the last place in America that people still get dressed up. (Although the tuxes seem to have vanished in the past 10 years.)

Whoops, thanks, Vaiouser! I was working my way through the thread to post here too, but I dawdled.
Let me know if I should post the full text in this thread, too, or if this link suffices.

Hugs and thanks to everybody for your comforting words and wishes regarding my late brother-in-law. Your support means more than you can imagine to me and my family. We're mostly holding our own, but my brother- and sister-in-law were married for 62 years, so she's devastated. I really appreciate the help with my request for a clean mp3 of Adam singing WWTLF. Many of you suggested that I look for an mp3 from last year's IHeart Radio concert, so I listened to several and found one where the crowd noise shouldn't be too hard to edit out (except for one unfortunate whistle in mid-song). Several sources recommended a free editing tool called Audacity. I haven't tried to edit the song yet -- not quite up to it right now -- but I may give it a try later tonight when things have calmed down. If I can get the editing right, I'll post a link so you can hear how it turned out. Glamberts, you also make the rockin' world go round! Thanks. So sorry to hear about your brother in law!!! I use Audacity. You need to be somewhat technically inclined to use it. If you just want to convert songs from 1 format to another, say FLAC to MP3, there is much easier free software to use. If you want to increase the volume on 1 of the QAL FLAC files, which tend to be recorded at a low volume to avoid distortion, that is not too hard to do in Audacity. This could be done to 1 of the recent QAL WWTLF recordings which are very good and do not have alot of audience noise like the videos do. This is because they were recorded with mics that pick up sound in the direction they are pointing in rather than mics that pick up all surrounding noise in all directions. This file can then be converted to mp3 or a better format. If you want to cut out the section in the iHR WWTLF with the electronuc amplifier squeel,it is a little harder to do but not too bad. There will be a noticable glitch in the song where it is missing that time segment of the song. If you want to get rid of the squeel in the iHR recording while preserving the underlying audio so that there are no time gaps, now that is a very hard thing to do or I would have already had it done! There are some commercial softwares that may have the right tools to make it easier. Basically you need to analyze the frequencies of the squeel and apply a notch filter to that time segment of the recording. The Audacity tools for analysing the frequency domain are very rudimentary and leave much to be desired. I have been thinking about looking into some commerical software that might have better frequency domain tools for this purpose.

This type of private jet probably does not have a shower on it. But as the details of this tour are coming out, I think that they are all being treated like Queens. They are traveling with furniture and rugs and lighting for the dressing rooms, they have staff support flying with them, seems like it must be 20+ people flying. This is truly at the top level of touring. ** I have flown in corporate jets, but not this level. That is one beautiful jet!! It likely does actually.... here are pics! Oh..... and like Truck N' Roll, Bombardier is a Canadian company. Canadian company, US division and made in the US. (This is made by what used to be Lear Jet.) And you can have almost anything on one of these planes if you have enough money. www.list.at/eng/Air/Executive-VVIP-Interiors

Q3 or Tinafea..... is the link to the concert recap OK or do they have to post the whole thing in both places .... concert night and current daily news day threads? IF YOU WANT TO POST A CONCERT REVIEW....
Please post the review in the concert thread, then post a short note and a link to it in the most current daily news thread.
A link is fine. The reason to double post is so people don't miss these reviews as they get done.
So please put the long post in the concert thread and post the link here!If you posted in both, it's cool. Just leave it. Thanks!

Aw, this is awesome. LINDSEY PARKER is now writing for Rolling Stone!! Guys, if you haven't been around since the American Idol days, Lindsey - who generally writes for Yahoo Music - has always been one of Adam's biggest proponents since the first day he set foot on the AI stage, and has championed him faithfully ever since. TRUST HER to make a perfectly fantastic timeline, and for Rolling Stone no less !! Please give this some loving clicks. www.rollingstone.com/music/news/they-are-the-champions-a-queen-adam-lambert-timeline-20140618 Give Lindsey clicks, but she is not writing for Rolling Stone, she is still with Yahoo! Music. Yahoo made a content deal with Rolling Stone that is all this is -- and it is on the RS site with a Yahoo - Reality Rock banner over it.
