I need your help and/or guidance. I'm one of those who can't remember much after seeing Adam live. It's like an out-of-body experience or something and when it's over and I come back to earthI'm lost. I'd like to learn how to "stay in the moment" so to speak and RETAIN everything. Any suggestions? (This is a serious question.) I believe it is not possible. So just enjoy the moment and the experience. : ) This is a serious answer. I do a little mindfulness practise ... if you have the presence of mind for it in the midst of a heaving sea of extremely excited people, a tsunami of noise and the full-on neural assault of the visuals ... try planting your feet firmly, make a point to feel your feet on the floor, take 3 slow breaths into your abdomen and ... yeah, I didn't manage that either, in two concerts. So, what Q3 said. Enjoy the ride! |

In case anyone missed my announcement a couple of days ago, I have added a couple of posts to the Tech questions thread, The last post is a list of QAL 2014 high quality audio recordings. These recordings are almost always in FLAC audio format. I will be adding to this list as high quality audio comes in. In the post above that one, I posted detailed instructions for using a very easy, simple, free software that will create an audio CD out of FLAC files. I will post instructions later this weekend for converting the FLAC files to MP3, M4A, or other formats. But if you want to make a CD, you will get the best quality audio by using this software for burning directly from FLAC to CD rather than converting to MP3 and then burning a CD from the MP3. I will also post some instructions later in the week (probably while I am in LA or LV) for how to do this on a Mac. If you have questions about any of my instructions, please send me a PM. General question. How do you fill the "Personal Smilies" file in the smiley dropdown? There are so many smilies now and I have my personal favorites that I would like quick reference to. Is it drag and drop or something else? Not drag and drop but it is really easy. Go to your Adamtopia PROFILE. Click the EDIT PROFILE button. Click the SETTINGS tab. Scroll down to "Your Personal Smilies" Paste the web address into the slots. You can paste in 1 or more. You can leave blanks. You can have up to 25 extra smilies. ** You can use any smilie that is online -- but it needs to have a web address. You can upload smilies to Photobucket or from anyplace else on the web. Thanks! Off to play. ETA: oooh, they come up on the main smiley screen. Cool. |
