Eileen @trespassmyass 1m His voice was so familiar but like he sounds so fucking different. Weirdly higher. --> Hmmm ... chipmunk effect? I got that in Edmonton (didn't wear the etymotics, was sitting very close to speakers at right of stage). This girl was on the floor, but maybe closer to stage/not in sweet spot in front of sound booth? Something to think about for future concert-goers -- also see stampsgal's Calgary concert recap for more thoughts on sound and location in the venue. Hi. I have been trying to catch up on the last couple days threads. And this is one of the things I have wanted to hear about...was just about to ask. Wondering if anyone was hearing the "chipmunk effect". I am going to the Forum on July 3rd with sister & a good friend. I bought all of us the etymotics ear pieces. And I am going to search for stampsgals's Calgary recap to see what she has said about it. Thanks. |

Okay, I just typed up a nice post about tonight and my hotel wifi disconnected and poof! I will write my recap tomorrow when I get home--just want to say thank you to 4EverAdam for the ice cream (even though we never found the Olympic cauldron) and it was great meeting LadyOz after the show--what a cool person!
By the way, that bronze lace shirt looks so much better in person, and those bronze pants are really . . . lovely (soft as butter, too).
