Ok, here it goes. First, I have to admit that I was an Adam Lambert Live virgin until today. I have seen nearly every video and recording in the last 5+ years, but as anyone who has been to a live event with AFL will tell you, you are UNPREPARED and you have no idea what the Real Thing is. .......................................................

This could have been so good. But the tone-deaf audience member competing with Adam on the first few bars of the song ruined it for me. Don't mean to be harsh, but if your know someone near you is recording a performance, please don't try to audiobomb it! |

My impression (don't have any facts to base it on) is that Adam does not like his freckles. Maybe he got teased a lot about them as a kid? But, he doesn't think they are "rock star." Looking down at his hands and seeing a sea of freckles does not please him, so he wears the gloves. Too bad. Cuz I just luuuuv all the freckles! I don't think so. My guess (also with no facts) is that they are part of his "costume". They are worn by bikers with leather jackets. They are worn by borders, bladers, and neo-punk rock kids. He was wearing a biker jacket. They go with it. I think they look great on him most times, and rarely look out of place. (I do not know the white ones with the white suit from 2010.) Out of place, people in the audience who do not own motorcycles wearing them.   It's all about "the look" and "the vibe" ... of course we don't know how he feels about his freckles ....following this logic one night say the tattoo sleeve has the same purpose...which again, I doubt is the case... |

Well.. I'm disappointed that he couldn't do the audience banter after TYMD. I love that banter, but I guess either Brian or Roger don't really like it, that's why the band started the next song without giving him a chance to do it. Oh well... I thought the audience would love to participate in it. I hope they will let him do that in MSG. Well.. they better be. I am disappointed too but I it seems they had some time constraints or some other reason to "shorten" the show - they didn't perform DSMN and Adam didn't do the "Love" "duet" with the audience... I doubt either R or B "didn't like it"   They started late -- I think it was a time issue. In Chicago, they had a time limit -- I confirmed this with the venue manager in Chicago that they cannot go later than some set time (oddly he would not tell me that that time was) because of staffing, part of the contract. It is almost certainly the same for most, if not all of these venues. |

I hope I don't freak out and cry through the whole show -- just so much GREAT stuff. I had tears at both iHearts. Kind of hard not to!  Wish I wasn't such an ugly crier ........ pack sunglasses. |

Queen intentionally wrote songs around the idea that the audience could participate with stomping and clapping. Also singing parts of some songs was a deliberate procedure to give the audience a feeling being a part of the performance. I quite sure that starting the next song 'too early' was a misunderstanding. Maybe due to the skipping the call and response in AOBTD which I presume was agreed upon in case the audience was a bit 'cold'. Perhaps the band was thinking that there'll be none of that - and Adam thought that later in the show it could well be attempted.

When did he take the fringed sleeves off. Was it hotter then usual or was there a costume malfunction? Maybe the fringe was getting in the way up on the couch. My only hope is that those wonderful leopard boots make it to Detroit. They've always been a favorite. I can't believe that I think about seeing them in person. GAL. Wasn't the fringe what caused last night's mic pack malfunction? Not sure. |

Out of place, people in the audience who do not own motorcycles wearing them. I LOVE the gloves!!!!! Makes his hands look very sexy, and bad ass all around. I think he wears them to absorb the sweat in in palms and give a better grip on the mike, very functional and appealing. Just my 2 cents

I guess they go with that biker-style jacket and if they help him get into the right place to perform like that OK with me. I do not notice them because the rest of that outfit is so great. I've always thought the same thing and I imagine he's still coating the the untatted arm with makeup. |
