Here is my last instalment my Tale of Three Cities, mini Concert Trek, I will be watching all the vids from the rest of you now. As much as I wish I could go to more shows, I feel blessed to have gone to three. Next time for me will be whenever Adam tours on his own with his own music!! Queen + Adam Lambert, The Tale of Three Cities, part 3. wp.me/p1WvwG-cb popalock... that link doesn't seem to be working? Should we copy/paste it into a new tab?

I am really glad I had the fancy earplugs because the crowd was really loud and appreciative. I couldn't believe I was really and truly seeing Adam and my eyes kept jumping from him on stage to him on the screen. His voice is amazing. When I bought a bottle of water, the server kept the cap for security reasons. So I was standing there holding my open bottle and I realized the water vibrated in it when Adam sang!!! That was an interesting phenomena that no one has mentioned. happy... loved your recap, and I especially love that bit about the water vibrating when Adam sang! Question: what the heck re. no bottle caps for "security reasons"??? WTF? How is a bottle cap supposed to be threatening?

now I posted two links, haha I have been up way too long, going to bed now. but they should work now. YES! They're working fine, and holy crap you got a lot of pics! There are a handful that are my favorites... especially a couple of black and white ones from the Calgary bunch! Thank you so much for the trio of recaps, and I am SO JEALOUS that you got to do Edmonton, Calgary, and Vancouver. I had really REALLY wanted to go to the Calgary concert, because my younger son lives there and he would have made the whole experience easy and fun, but i just couldn't afford to GET THERE. Sigh.

Aww. That's too bad but you couldn't get to Calgary but you got to the Vancouver one thought right? The only reason I was able to do all three was that I had originally saved up for a 3 week Portugal vacation which we had to cancel (husband couldn't take the three weeks off we needed) at the last minute- I had already booked the time off work and was going to do a 'staycation' when the tour was announced. Voila, I had the time and the money so I couldn't resist. Now the harsh part is getting back to reality.

Really late with my little recap but had to get a job finished after I got home late Sunday afternoon. Thank you to everyone who have shared their concert experience.
It all still seems unreal to me. If it wasn't for the gorgeous program, the bag and keychain and the handful of lousy pictures I might think I dreamt the whole experience! I'm so sorry to hear some of you had what turned out to be not such good seats with lots of interference and noisy folks around you, mostly on the floor. I guess the floor can be great as to being in the thick of things and seeing them up close, and I'm surely thankful for the great up close videos you are all sharing, but it seems you also get lots more interference. It's one reason I didn't want floor seats, had that experience once before at a Paul Simon concert and it really just ruins things for you. We were on the side, row 16, just even with the end of the thrust so pretty nice. Everyone was on their feet when the curtain rose, and really only sat down for the slower songs. Turned out we ended up right beside a couple we had met at Melisende's Glamnation party several years ago, so that was great! Didn't have much luck meeting any other Atoppers, and we were wearing our green ribbons. Missed Jablea at the Aquarium, but did run into Happy who we had met before, great to see her and her daughter. At the very end of the show while I was waiting outside the washrooms, had a fellow wearing a Glamnation shirt come up to me and it was Kryptoman! Great to meet you and your lovely wife, hope the rest of the move went smoothly!
The concert is a bit of a blur. So excited to finally be there to see it live I guess my brain was on overload as far as remembering the details. Don't remember noticing that Roger kissed Adam's hand at the end of UP, but what a lovely moment. We really would be lost without vids to take us back to see what we all missed. Brian May really blew me away, wow. I loved the joy and fun they were very obviously having on stage. The opening section were all less familiar songs to me, in spite of Talon's and Q3's wonderful Queen education, so other than the fact that I was actually watching Adam F. Lambert in living color do his thing, that was not the highlight for me.
And of course, Adam. I felt myself get quite emotional to see him in this big arena, getting so much love from the band and the audience; Our Boy, even though we have nothing to do with what he has made of himself, but still, OUR Boy, being where we think he deserves to be, being fabulous, looking hot, being recognized for his talents. WWTLF gave me goose bumps. I closed my eyes for a few seconds and just let that glorious voice wash over me, filling the arena. Magical.
Unfortunately this was the only concert I could afford to do, so I'll be looking forward to the rest of the stories, pictures and vids through you all who are going to the rest of the tour. Shout out to MsZue and her friend, who was a newby to QAL and had a hard time understanding why we are all such dedicated followers of Adam, for being great travel companions, I had a wonderful weekend! And thank you Queen + Adam for a fantastic show, probably the best show I've ever been to!

My turn to catch up with Atop after attending the Vancouver concert. I'm so late with my catch up, sorry - still a jumble of emotion and memories, but I loved every minute of the concert and so happy to hear and feel that glorious voice again. This was not my first time seeing Adam live . . . but it was for my guests, my sister and her 2 daughters and my son. I loved how they all enjoyed the spectacular and in particular the charisma and talent of Adam. I was lucky enough to sit next to a Glambert (who had come from Hawaii to see the show) - a perfect stranger at the beginning of the concert and BFF at the end after shared dancing, flailing, sighs and laughter - see you in Vegas Marcia ! The combination of Adam and Queen on stage is so right on every level - musically, theatrically, spiritually and professionally. This heady blend combined with an excited happy audience resulted in a free fall of joyous abandon and an unforgettable night for everyone in my group - sharing this experience with my loved ones will be a memory I will always cherish. Thank you to Brian, Roger and Adam. I didn't catch up with any Atopers on the night except for revlisacat - I approached her after the concert (no green ribbons on either of us) but somehow I knew her - perhaps this is another side effect of ADAM LIVE ... heightened consciousness ! What a lovely lady, I wish I could have spent more time sharing with her but the short time was very intense for me . The 2 days in Vegas will be will be a trip to remember - meeting up with 50+ Atoppers will be amazingly fun and surreal
