Thanks to the person who streamed part of the show last night! I finally got to see the first half non-stop and it was incredible! Can't wait for the videos to pop up from the rest of the show, and so glad Brian felt redeemed by last night's success. Adam was amazing, I think he takes the rest of Queen to new heights.

Loved the stream......trying to stop myself from looking into tickets back east for another show! Can't take anymore time off work!! [How can I make this happen?]

You know, I have made it through all these years of fandom without crying about Adam. Of course some of his songs bring the tears (I Can't Make You Love Me, Soaked to name two), But this tweet of Brian's:
brought me to the edge. Not just the integrity and generosity and recognition that Brian showed, but, as Cassie has pointed out, such heartfelt recognition of all that has brought Adam to this place. Because we all know he has worked hard for this. And so does Brian, IMO.
And I think he was recognizing Adam for the joy he brings, personally and professionally, to Queen. And for the love, the absolute love that the audience brings. Queen stands on it's own, easily one of the greatest bands, with the greatest songs, just iconic. But I think Brian knows that by adding Adam, magic happens. Night after night.
Still thinking of Cara, and her comment that "that's when it's right, when you are pushing each other to be better." I think that's what Adam and Queen do for each other.
And Brian? Just a little in love with that wonderful man.
And if Adam had to wait for a karmic return of all the lovely tweets he has done in recognition of other artists, well, this is the Mount Olympus of returns, IMO. The gods have spoken.

Royal flush: Queen + Adam Lambert prove they’re still the championsJason Janik/Special Contributor With Adam Lambert fronting the band, Queen brought a rock spectacle to Dallas' American Airlines Center on Thursday night. By JOY TIPPING Staff Writer jtipping@dallasnews.com Published: 11 July 2014 12:38 PM Updated: 11 July 2014 12:52 PM
Flashback to the ’70s? Male lead singer in leather, lace and leopard-print outfits, replete with sequins, platforms and occasional Elvisian sneer? Check. Howling anthems interspersed with wringingly emotional ballads? You betcha. Self-indulgent but crowd-pleasing 16-minute guitar solo? Smoke machines on overdrive and a tripped-out set that didn’t actually do much of anything? Oh, definitely. So yeah, watching Queen + Adam Lambert on Thursday night at American Airlines Center was, indeed, a little bit like entering a way-cool, hyped-up time machine with several thousand other folks who were all digging every minute of it. AAC hasn’t rocked like that since ... well, since shows like this were held at Reunion Arena. Lambert was Lambert all the way in this show, which expertly walked the precocious line — these are Queen fans, after all, and they are serious about their rock — between introducing “the new kid,” as lead guitarist/vocalist Brian May jokingly called Lambert, and making sure that everyone knew that Mercury, who died at age 45 in 1991 from complications of AIDS, remains the heart and beating soul of Queen. Lambert has the voice, no question, but he also has something Mercury didn’t: absolute control. He never veered into that “might just go insane” place that made Mercury so fascinating. Take that as a good thing or not; the Thursday-night crowd seemed to be all-in in accepting Lambert as the next best thing they’re ever going to find for Mercury. Along with Lambert’s incendiary vocals, an all-too-rare commodity rippled through the show: utter graciousness. Lambert made no attempt to take things over, simply trusting in the power of his voice, sexiness and shocking charisma (all every bit a match for Mercury’s) to carry things. He stepped offstage several times to let the pure Queen love rule the arena (and to change costumes — May’s halfway-mark solo went on so long that my friend wondered if Lambert had spent that time actually getting his arm tattoos, which weren’t visible before his re-entrance, painted on backstage). Original band members May and drummer Roger Taylor returned the love. The crowd seemed equally entranced with both New Queen (Lambert) and old (extended clips of Mercury playing on the bright, moving Q-shaped set piece/screen that dominated the stage). One of the most affecting moments of the show came with May’s solo on “Love of My Life” when Mercury’s first image appeared onscreen. Later, there was a gorgeous few beats of pure synchronicity during “Bohemian Rhapsody,” with Lambert and Mercury singing alternate lines and sounding, truly, as if they were both right there. Lambert positively soared with the haunting “Love Kills,” which was Mercury’s first solo effort. The torch was also lit, if not exactly passed, in another way, via the showstopping moment when Taylor and his son, Rufus, exchanged “top that” drum riffs and then went all out in unison. Sheer magic. Other highlights: the singalong-thump of “Radio Ga Ga,” the naughty-but-fun “Fat Bottomed Girls” and the loopy “Killer Queen,” when Lambert sprawled across a chaise lounge and actually rolled his eyes, in good-natured jest, at yet another May solo. Lambert’s “I’m the king now, and we’ve all accepted that” vibe reached full pitch when his final costume included, yes, a crown. Will the fabulous partnership continue? We can only hope: The North American tour runs through July 28, then the group travels to Asia and Australia. Queen has announced a new album project with remastered Mercury tunes. What we want most: An album with all-new music, and Lambert on vocals. That would announce Queen’s full arrival into the 21st century, and we’d be ecstatic. Read more

This is my experience last night. I apologize in advance for my language mistakes and broken English. (I have an incredible amount of language difficulties and sometimes almost annoyed myself when I can not get express myself. Example, when I tried to ask in the lobby, do you have a sale of champagne, I could not get myself understood, the seller tried to sell me a margarita .) And I apologize that this time I dont write a lot of Adam. In the car to the concert venue was of course involved in Queen fans. Large bearded man was interested, of course, my Queen & Adam shirt. (It's different than what is now available for sale shirts.) Where did you buy it? What, you've been in Poland and England to see them two years ago. Where are you from? Finland, and you'll come all this way to see them!? I've heard the same thing for dozens of times! When I was guided to the seat, I noticed that between the circular stage and the end of the rows of seats were added more chairs , which are not seen in the seating chart. I was supposed to sit one seat away from the stage and now I sit of a four seat away. I was really upset! But so were other people of the front and back, and especially those who thought they were sitting in right next to the stage. I was sitting next to a woman, who introduced herself and upon hearing my name, she asked right away from where I was. He was thrilled when she heard that I'm from Finland, because she had been half a year in Helsinki with her band playing. And she had seen Adam's concert there. She is a drummer and of course was followed particularly closely with Roger and Rufus drumming. On the other side sat the couple whom I talked to in a long time also. They were the Queen -fans and were very curious about what kind of Adam is! Of course, I used all the possible words of praise that I could say in English. They haven't seen not even any videos Queenbert concert! They were lovely and I changed with them (and and a couple of other people around me ) the e-mail addresses so we can send photos and videos to each other. Behind me there were also a couple of couples who had come because of Queen's. They were so excited, that they hardly remained in their pants! I think it is so wonderful to look at the people who indulge their emotions to power. They also wanted to look at my Queenbert shirt. And we went back already familiar debate about where I was and were just amazed that 'Did I really come all this way to watch the concert?'. When I told them that I was in Las Vegas watching the two concerts, and I was going to still have to go to Philadelphia and New York, they said that I'm real fan!! The information about me was transferred from mouth to mouth the entire length of the lines, and all smiled and raised their thumbs up for me . All around were the Queen fans, so they were a little confused about my love to Adam. But when I said that I am now also a fan of Queen and I love their music, they were really pleased with that one . At some point, I noticed that Brian's guitar custodian (? I don't remember his name) came near me, and of course I now have a number of pictures hugging him. Unfortunately, the picture taker did not understand the camera settings, and all images are a little blurry. The concert should have started 7.30, but because it seemed that the venue was not far from being full, I decided to visit the rest room. And during that trip I found out why the concerts always start late. In front of all beverage outlets and food outlets were still huge lines. ??? People why do you start to eat huge meals, just when the concert should begin??!! Come on time, so have time to eat if you are hungry! And forgive me, I do not understand the fact that the concert hall will bring massive doses of food and beer . What was different between the Dallas and Las Vegas? Of course, the venue was soaring big. And now I saw the whole aisle and the round stage and balconies. Great Q in the background was awesome. Music was actually a lot harder (I missed my earplugs). Now I attached particular attention to the Rufus drumming during "Tie Your Mother Down". He did a great job. I saw that drumming takes a lot of strength, and at the end of Rufus downright collapse drums on top of everything to an issuing. And ofcource, because the concert was so much of late, I had the opportunity to visit a lot of interesting discussions! What kind of Adam was? Of course, divine ! And all Queen fans fell in love with him too ! I am enclosing a few pictures later on in this thread, if photbucket will to co-operate with me .
