I have to agree with you here, talon. After all, it is Queen + Adam Lambert. And, just so you know, I'm an Adam fan first and foremost, but....as you said, Adam has been the central figure on all of the fan made posters so far. It's only fair that at least one features Brian & Roger. Roger does get stuck in the background way too much, and beings he's the drummer, that's understandable because he is in the background. We just have to remember that, if it wasn't for Queen, we wouldn't be getting this much Adam goodness at all!! So, I'm very thankful for all of it. I'm also thankful for all the Queen history you have brought us here. I've always loved them, but was busy raising kids when they were at their peak. I missed so much, and Adam + long time fans like you and Q3 have let me in on how absolutely awesome Queen is. Aww thanks! :D And I'm glad you are getting the time to get to know them now! Yeah I completely understand that an adam fan made it so no doubt they are going to be adamcentric for the most part and exactly Rog doesn't have too many front and center poses to use  I just am very appreciative for one that's the opposite. Mainly because I've been making mp3s of all the concerts and I've been using those posters for "cover art" because frankly they are damn fine pieces of work but as a Queen fan it's nice to see the others for at least one. These were posted on the Queen sites too and someone made a mock one for Dallas (I think?) that was more Queen centric and it was nice...but for the rest of the gigs I've been using these posters! You're quite welcome, talon!  I love these posters and have been saving them since they started making them for Adam's concerts. Don't know what I'll ever do with them, but I love them!! LOL!! And, yes, they are damn fine pieces of work. Someday, I'll have to learn how to make mp3s & CD's, etc. Very tech challenged here...lol! I've been very lucky to have some people here send me CD's of some of the concerts. Atop is an awesome, sharing group, and I appreciate everyone here so much. |

This is a bit OT, but not totally. In my last post, I mentioned how awesome everyone here at Atop is. Well, I want to say thank you again to all that so graciously went together to buy me a new computer at Christmas time in 2012. Yep, in case you didn't know, that really happened!! I am still so full of thanks for that that I can't even say. I couldn't watch vids on my old one, and barely mentioned it, and OMG!! That Happened!!! So, to all of you out there that helped with that, THANK YOU again, from the bottom of my heart!!!!!! I can even watch in full screen, which I never could before. And, since I can't go to any of the QAL concerts, that means SO much to me!! TY TY TY!!!! I will never forget any of you!!! *happy tears* This is such a wonderful community, and even thought I don't post often these days, I always check in and lurk a lot. I'm really trying to do betterer, but this year has really hit hard, but I know it will be ok. Just hangin' in there!! HUGS to you ALL!! Ok, on with the show!!!!!!!!! LOL!! (see what I did there?)  |

Waves... been away for a couple days and looking forward to "mostly lurking" for the concert tonight.
Talon, RE the poster. I agree that it is nice to see other Queen members on it. I am an Adam fan first and foremost, but lately have been feeling that, Adam aside since this is his fans, Brian is getting most of the attention and Roger is not getting much limelight at all in the vids and pics. Maybe his ego doesn't need stroking but just in case, yes I too would like to see him get a little more attention. Anyway, love the posters and talented people who put them together and think I will tweet that poster to Roger - hope he or his camp sees it.
