The boy is such a total and complete ham! I love it! LOL - indeed. But if he made it look too easy he'd give everyone else a complex... Got to love him though. Day 2 or a 3 day shot and he pulls that out. But guessing just holding a note isn't so taxing on the voice as a whole pile of vocal acrobatics and high notes. It was a long note but not particularly high for Adam ... but then I know nothing about these things. You are right. That note is very much in Adam's comfort zone. Nothing taxing about it. As to the length, that is what all those years of study and training are for; to be able to sustain notes and phrases to their rightful conclusion. Well, okay, so this was above and beyond what the song called for. He was showing off. I love him for it. Hey, if ya got it, flaunt it. And in case someone wasn't impressed, do a version of James Brown staggering around the stage in pure exhaustion from the feat.

And to the showing off bit - love him for that too. Is a bit like kid riding down a hill on his bike - look ma no arms, look ma no feet - weeeeeeeee look at what I can do. :-) This tour is cementing his place as the voice of a generation. Will be so much fun to see what he does with it.

Hi, I am trying to upload what I have from the concert tonight. Here is Somebody to Love. Battery change at a very inopportune moment at beginning of one of my favorite songs. But its almost all there, and that note was fabulous. Toronto was an absolutely outstanding show. Had to make a choice of a seat on the floor or the side, but there were obstructions on the floor. Will post what I have from there at the end if those are ok, but first doing what I have from the side.

Interesting.. Never noticed this, but it looks like Spike is counting down for Adam during "find me somebody to love" chorus with his fingers starting at 2:57. I wonder if that's so Adam doesn't keep going on and on and on... and get lost in the moment? : It also seems like Spike is directing Adam at the end of that sequence to go down with the note... Have they always done this?

This is probably really obvious, and I'm just not getting it. What does SEO mean in this tweet? Stephen Derksen @stephenderksen Adam Lambert's SEO is off the charts right now. What a performance at the @queenwillrock show! Wow. SEO......means search engine optimization. People are starting to use it as a descriptor. Man, he has really good SEO and even people who have no techie background are paying thru the nose to make sure their website has it. Anyway, what he means here is that Adam is hitting all his marks, all his notes, everything is lined up perfectly, nothing out of place, everything dotted and crossed, nothing left out, clear as day to see, beautiful on the outside (visual) and on the inside (code), high ranking, no errors, etc. High praise from a geek.

Have they always done this? Yup. Spike is directing all the singers. He is signaling when to stop repeating the line and move on to the next. How many times "find me somebody to love" is repeated is not set, but is dependent on the audience and Adam, in part. All the guys look over at Spike for the countdown until "somebody (somebody) somebody(somebody) ..." Spike actually is signaling that he is singing the low note along with anyone else on that part.

Adam and Queen mesmerized everyone in the audience tonight. I'm uploading videos to my YT channel now and will keep you posted when some are ready.

Oh how interesting! If Spike is directing, then how does Adam have a say as to how long to keep it going? It seems like it would be completely up to Spike if everyone is looking to him..
