What? No one has yet commented on Somebody to Love from Montreal? Just when I thought Toronto was the best, he pulls out this from his (fringed) sleeve - again a long Loooord + that thing he does at 9.50, I don't even know how to call it (where's cassie?), but I'm sure that note alone makes Montreal STL THE BEST EVAH!
ETA: (P.S. That's not a pop voice. That's opera.  ) hahahaha. That note is in his wonderful head voice. He creates that pulse with his diaphragm/breath control. Wonderful stuff, isn't it. I am waiting for a really good video of STL Montreal. SOMEONE must have one. Pleeeez. Geez how anyone can define that as pop warble is beyond me, that is rock vocals at its purest. I have seen mostly every single of Adams performance, that has to be the greatest vocal performance of his entire career, saying this knowing 24 hrs from now he well prove me wrong haha. |
