7.16.14 Q+AL CONCERT THREAD -- Philadelphia, PA USA

Butterfly, this picture is so funny ... because you can see Dr. Bri's feet which are pointed the same direction as Adam, but cannot see Dr. Bri, it looks like Adam is standing through the sofa with really short legs. HaHa!

Venue is slowing filling up.

lights dim..Couselor who is a "groupie" LOL has already seen what 4 shows? by now  knew that although the dimming of lights was not the start.  They are testing.  so she mentions that to me and the other fan KMT who use to post here but alas prefers to sit on the sideline but is still a hugh fan,  We do ask those in front if they are Queen or Adam fan   QUEEN  and it look like we were in the Queen section as many had old Queen t shirts

FINALLY   SMOKE    the 3 people in front of us turn around and say "Would you mind not telling us what is coming up  We want to see the show for the first time without your commentary"  or something to that effect.  WTF  Counselor and I look at each other in bewilderment.


SMOKE   key notes  everyone is cheering and stand up.  RIGHT?????  the row behind us scream  SIT DOWN!!!! WTF  we ignored and screamed .  They again repeatedly told us to sit down.  Mind you everyone in front and to the right of me were all standing as were the floor.


Didn't matter we stood until Adam headed off for the 1st wardrobe change.  again they kept saying we want to see the show.  I quipped then STAND UP  you are at a rock concert!


But counselor and KMT moved down to the aisle railing closer to get away.  CRAP  what a downer.  I was in shock  

I think seats ought to be equipped w rubber mallets to one could hit those nasty people over the head  M Fer's!!!!!!


BUT I WILL SAY  knowing that I have listen to the streams, and vid's we knew when Adam hit those crazy notes and expecting to hold the long STL note.   He seemed off or at sometimes tired but to the new concert goers, they most likely didn't pick up on it.

BUT NO ONe can sing like ADAM  DAMN  LOVE KILLS and WwTLF were astounding.  He is pure music.


Yes all sat down for the Brian solo  It was good  but those high notes, at times I felt too much, kinda of hurt my head...

Roger and Rufus were SUPER  rufus is really really good  I 'm looking up to the skies and praying that Adam has Rufus as his new drummer.  

Neil is funky  love his little duet w Brian.  expert musicians.

couple of observations because noting more can be added and other have not said,

but ADAM is unbelievable  the voice!!!!!! pure joy

When Adam came out in the leopard outfit, his crown looked lopsided.  I immediately thought  THAT"s because you cut your hair so short the crown has nothing to hold onto.  I really was expecting it to fall off.  LOL

Afterwards, I chatted w a few.  ALL Queen fans,  most said Adam was great  one said He's not Freddie which i quickly quipped FReDDIE is DEAD  Adam brought the music alive.!   the last two loved Adam


I saw an Adam impersonator as well as a few who had capes on and of course the groups on sat on the side stage, had their tiara on.


I have a pounding headache  but I will add I would not want the seats on the stage because the miss the full impact of the staging, the big Queen when lowered had a great effect, the laser show and of course the full force of the music.  WOW

taking advil and now picking up COunselor and friend and heading up to NEW YOKR  MSQ  here we come the screaming fans.
