From forum called metalsetlists.com I've seen a ton of shows in my life so far, and this beyond a shadow of a doubt is one of the best I have ever seen. Everything about the show tonight was perfect. The sound, the crowd participation, the setlist, just not a single dull moment the whole night. Adam Lambert surprised the hell out of me. I knew he was a pretty good singer, but god damn, when did he get THIS good? He did the Queen songs justice, and I can't think of another singer who could have possibly filled in for the irreplaceable Freddie Mercury. So much charisma and knew how to handle a large crowd! Brian May and Roger Taylor did not disappoint, both were on their A-game, and you could tell that they were both thrilled to be touring again. Both did amazing solos as well The rest of the band (never caught their names) did an amazing job as well. I particularly liked how the Bass player did some riffs from Hot Space (Body Language and Staying Power), I thought it was a nice nod to that underrated album. I noticed that The Show Must Go On was dropped at the last show in favor of Dragon Attack. I LOVE Dragon Attack, but The Show Must Go On is my favorite Queen song, so I was a bit bummed out about that. Tonight though, both were played, and I couldn't have been happier Do NOT miss this tour if you get a chance to see it, it truly is one of the best shows you could ever see these days! www.metalsetlists.com/showthread.php?t=25599 |
