So, I was sitting in the bus today on my way to work. 6.50 a.m., I´m still half asleep and trying desperatly to stay awake. I have my earphones in and am listening to the radio. As I change radio stations I hear a song - definitly new, haven´t heard that one before on radio, nice beat. Someone starts to sing - I´m all oh, nice voice, kinda reminds me of Adam. Suddenly all awake - that´s LMD. Checking the Ipod - yep - that´s radio, like real radio. Grinning like a loon and checking again to be quite sure I´ve not fallen asleep. Yep, still awake, still LMD on radio. Or as a saner person would report: They played LMD today on Austrian radio station Krone Hit - I think it´s been a while since I heard Adam´s voice on radio in Austria. *happy sigh* THIS IS VERY EXCITING!!! And it's SO GOOD to see you, clematis!! </img>

Thanks, Evergreen. I think I need to get one that has the 'Adam fountain' in it. You know...for the 'Bad Ass Rock Star' affect!lol SIL likes Lady Ga Ga which surprises me because she is sort of conservative. So I think she would enjoy the fountain into the audience thing! I appreciate your help. I might send it and then one with the 'Adam fountain'. You can never see enough of Killer Queen is my motto! So many good ones I cannot find the exact one I am thinking about. But this is close up and very clear. It would be perfect if the damned professional cameraman didn't want to take the exact same shots as the fan.

Freddie may have SAID that Killer Queen was about some high class female prostitute, but there is little doubt in my mind that he had another meaning and gender in mind as well. Just not one that he could discuss publicly in that cultural climate. I don't think Adam's interpretation is "new."

Aww Seoulmate I'm so sorry for your concert experience. My seats were in the first balcony a few rows back in Chicago and I could see great and enjoy the laser light show over the arena. I am short and I knew there was no way I could stand on the floor and see anything. Thanks to Glassam, who I got my seats from, I really was happy with my concert experience. Next time you'll know to sit up a little even if it takes a little away from the 'up close and personal' you get on the floor. You are like me...I don't get to go to many concerts but I know we will see more! ETA: You made me laugh through your whole recap. At least you could look at it with a sense of humor. Please tell us what your lawyer friend said about Adam after the show. It's okay, bb! I would not have missed QAL for anything and aside from all the fucking interruptions I had a fabulous time! But what I really need is enough money to maybe go to 3-4 concerts. I'm like wendyness... for a first concert the whole experience is so utterly overwhelming it's almost like your brain shuts down because it simply cannot process EVERYTHING. I think with a second, third, or even fourth concert, being "in the moment" would become progressively easier. I think I'd be way more able to focus on things. I think this would be especially true if I could go to several concerts and have different seats so I could experience things from different perspectives. When you only get ONE SHOT at this epicness, it's almost a panicky feeling cause you really don't know where to look and what to focus on because this is your only chance! In my case, I couldn't see the stage, so I focused entirely on HEARING THE VOICE and watching the fabulous light show!

Please tell us what your lawyer friend said about Adam after the show. Oh... she was a VERY HAPPY CAMPER!!! She thanked me 100 times for getting her a ticket. She kept talking about how fabulous Adam was... "God, he's good!!" "Man... THAT VOICE!" "He's an incredible performer!!" She was also thrilled to hear all the old Queen songs... she recognized most of them and was ecstatic to hear them live. I was very happy that she was so happy!!
