Thanks JazzRocks and HoppersSkippersMiners, I feel better. I guess I'm really tired of hearing from everyone, even fans "he's no Freddie" I wish they would just rate Adam on his own merit with Queen. Freddie was an amazing singer and yes a Rock God, but so is Adam and I think he's just as spectacular in his own right. The negative comments that I read weren't from Adamtopia they were from people that attended the concert in San Jose though, they were in the comments section under Jim's San Jose review. I drove home from town today and actually burst into happy tears for all the excitement and buzz that this tour is generating for Queen and Adam. Don't read the comments. They are ALWAYS horrid. There were over 16,000 people at the concert last night. How many comments were there? You see the reactions of the fans in the videos and the mounting excitement as QAL drills home their music catalog.
BTW, different strokes - I LOVE the opening songs. See, everyone has their own likes and dislikes. "Here I Am" just kills me; especially when the lights turn blue and he starts in again with "think I'll stay awhile". FBG's can take a hike
