FULL SET of videos are now up for LA, using 3 different videographers. I wanted to get that done before I leave for Las Vegas.
adamtopia.com/thread/2414/14-concert-thread-forum-usa Keep your fingers crossed that I don't screw up videoing tomorrow night. I won't be able to blame peeps being in my way since it's first row of the balcony
Huge thanks to
BUTTERKNIFE and
TINAFEA for streaming this experience of QAL! You'll be fine, Tinafea..and
Butterknife..you DO not suck. You gave of your concert experience to provide a stream (which I wasn't able to watch, unfortunately).
My gratitude to you is boundless. Give yourself kudos.
12,000 people got to witness this concert cause of you
who otherwise would not have.
Hugs to
Kamar for Dr. Bri seeing your drawing!! I thought it was a hoot! His hair would prolly do that too..lol..
And all the pics and vids..too many to thank, but
Bama, girl, you were on a roll. Great shots!
The Forum was very dear to Adam, Brian and Roger. This is the first thread I've been able to read from
start to finish and I'm glad I had the opportunity. Now onto the concert recap..AGAIN,
Tinafea, bless you
for getting so much archived before you head out to Vegas!
I have only one observation of what I've seen and experienced live so far. Queen is the sum of its components.
We see a lot of Adam and Brian..rightly so. Roger gets a bit left out being in back drumming most of the time,
but he is rocking those drums. Big time. I don't know if Neil had his bass solo last night, but my god, he's
so brilliant. And Spike on keys is wicked. Rufus is a perfect percussionist counterpoint to Roger.
To me all of these men are one living organism and I've never witnessed anything like it.
The fact they are having so much fun on top of being so cohesive sends twitters through my heart strings.
THIS is a band. I no longer separate Adam from Queen during this tour as they are one. I may yak more
since I will see Queen again, but for now...all hail Queen!
Tickled red, white and blue that the Forum gave and gave and gave love to these men!!! Full circle for
all of them.
BTW...THIS is NOT a criticism of any attention being focused on Adam and Brian.
I wanted to express my admiration for the rest of the artists on that stage as well. Dislike clarifications,
but sometimes come in handy for self-preservation...lol..
HAPPY 4th, y'all! ONTO VEGAS!
