STREAM For tomorroW!!!!

I'll be streaming the first Vegas show tomorrow night. I have the perfect seat: front row balcony (middle of the row so security has no access to me). No obstructed views by flailing arms. Just far away enough for great sound. We probably won't be getting the full stage set up, but dammit there better be a settee on that friggin' stage or I'll have a stern word with Dr. Bri!!!! I have 500 Mb's and I've been told that the show requires 200-300 Mb's. Depending how it goes, I may partially stream the second night also from Box Suite... different view but again, good sound and no obstruction. I'll let you guys know how much the first night eats up.  My ustream link is: www.ustream.tv/channel/qal---vegas-1 Oh this is just too much!! Isn't it something to see a group of musicians gel like this, Adamrocks??? Each member is integral and what tickles me the most, is that they are all acknowledged at one point or another during the evening. That is special to me. I don't go to enough concerts to know if this happens much, but I expect not. Not with the comradery and respect that Queen does it. Thanks Adamrocks, Wal, and all the other news grabbers on the thread. Hate to miss anyone, sorry if I have. I'm thoroughly enjoying this concert thread!! Been waiting for this one.   |

He doesn't want a nostalgic concert but this concert is designed, intentionally, for nostalgia. So... And he is firmly in the no Queen without Freddie camp. He at least gave Adam props for way more than an AI contestant. And I do have to say (forgive me) that it feels really awfully lazy for them to continue to do Bo Rap that way, as letting Adam try to rearrange it with the band would have been cool.
Nice of him to mention Adam's pov as an artist and liking the couch. I really like Roger singing These Are The Days of Our Lives.

It's not about creating something new and revolutionary,It's a tribute to Freddie,Queen and their music..The critic giveth and he takith away.. He gives Adam praise and then at the end diminishes him... This is not a contest this is a testimonial to greatness. IMHO I think Queen's idea to bring out old,not heard before music with Freddie ,is a mistake.. living in the past.. I think they should look to the future.. too talented to keep going back.I also can't understand why Adam is not being reviewed on songs that Freddie didn't actually do on stage like The Show must Go On.,Who Wants to Live Forever,etc. Adam was Epic and no comparisons needed...If he wanted something different why didn't he critique songs that Freddie didn't do? |
