FULL SET of videos are now up for LA, using 3 different videographers. I won't be able to blame peeps being in my way since it's first row of the balcony  Thank you for all of your hard work. When I try to open this page, my computer totally freezes up. Could it be there are too many video links on one page? I sooo want to see the compilation, but no can do. If it is just my machine, never mind. Enjoy yourself thoroughly tomorrow. Let yourself be in the moment. We will love any videos you give us, but your concert experience is the most important thing for you. |

The thing that causes my heart to break for Brian and Roger is the reviewers statement/implication that they are touring for the money. Can the reviewer get out of the way of himself for one moment and experience the joy of the performance? Mikael Wood's heart must be made of wood, not to notice. I'm glad mine's not.

Um, dude THERE ISN'T ANY NEW MUSIC. What else do you consider cutting edge? You wanted Adam to do a Lady Gaga-ish paint vomit on stage? (Freddie didn't do that admittedly). You state that there was spectacle. That Brian played virtuositically. So why so jaded? The review is so odd. He first states all the good, then dismisses all that goodness as meh. Weird. |

Crappy review. Sigh. It happens. The reviewer didn't want a concert that is part of the very popular nostalgia concert theme. Would he think the same of Paul McCartney? The Rolling Stones? Cher? etc? He wanted NEW music from Queen and Adam, I guess. He wanted innovation as they were wont to do in the 70s. Sorry, fella. Not what they are into right now. Not what the vast majority of the audience wanted either.
Also, sucks for you not to be able to hear how extraordinary Adam's voice was on those "tired" old tunes. How it reverberated around the walls of the arena and deep into one's bones. If he cannot hear it, he cannot hear it. Tragic for him to get so little pleasure and enjoyment out of such a phenomenal concert.

For the record - it may seem lazy but it is definitely Brian's considered choice. Bohemian Rhapsody is always singularly pointed as Freddie's song. It was "Freddie's baby" as Brian is always wont to say, so Brian can't see *NOT* having Freddie on it. I doubt it will ever change. I love it myself still to be honest, although as cheesy as it might be I wish Adam would go back to "introducing" Freddie as he comes in. It may be stupid but for just :30 it makes it seem like Freddie has come back....but I wax nostalgic You wax nostalgic anytime, Talon! Freddie Mercury IS iconic. To me, he and Adam are apples and oranges, so I can separate the two as unique performers. I guess that is why it's easier for me to remain more neutral to the constant comparisons. I'm proud of the true respect Adam holds for Freddie. I think it shows...  I love the show and the homage shown to Freddie. That review hurts my heart because of the disrespect shown to Brian and Roger. I hope they all know that the true review is the love shown by the thousands who attend the concerts and not this damned mush-brain blinders-on clod who wouldn't know homage and nostalgia if it hit him in the head. |

Regarding that review, I can't help but think if Brian, Roger and Adam did put a new spin on the old music the critics and die hard Queen fans would have crucified them for that! Can't win either way. I think the shows being sold out and the response of the audiences so far speak for themselves.
