adamrocks - thanks so much. Working on downloads to create DVDs but would really love it if someone would just create a simple file of the Las Vegas shows and give it out. I don't know what to do with bit torrents and all that other s..t people are saying to do to crate media files. Sorry for the s..t but my flight home from Vegas, that should have been 2 hours, ended up including a stop over in Portland because we had to circle a bit and then were running out of fuel and had to land to get more gas. What a crazy day. Plus I paid more $$ so I could catch an earlier flight. I actually arrived 1/2 an hour before my original flight would have landed. I am just whining. Great afternoon in the PNW. Lovely sunny day and enjoying the videos and pictures. Edit: sorry for the rant. Having difficulty with my computer and with some of the processes to set up files and get them transferred. I tend to get very frustrated when dealing with technology. I have learned a lot through Atop and many of the tech savvy members and appreciate the willingness to help. Many times it is the operator and not the technology that is the issue.  |

If they record as just Queen there would be a riot and even I would be miffed. Queen is Freddie Brian Roger and John. It should be Queen + Adam Lambert. That marks it as it's own entity. Justi as Queen + Paul Rodgers when they released The Cosmos Rocks. B&R will not record together without using the Queen name and why should they but they will never record as just Queen unless it's the album with freddie recordings or an album where they sang. But yes as set up both John and Freddie's estate as managed by Jim Beach would receive payment as a part of Queen Productions. Just as they will receive $$ from this tour and any bluray or DVD. And rightfully so. They were half of the Queen legacy which is what this new collaboration is based on. I am 99.99999% sure that if they record anything -- it will NOT be as Queen. Both Queen and Adam fans would riot. Anyway, the are too smart to do it as Queen -- they are touring as Q+AL and IMHO the AL is worth a third of the bodies at these concerts, and probably half of the revenue -- because it is the Adam fans paying $400 and $500 or more to be up close, not the Queen fans. I honestly could not find one Queen fan in the first 10 rows at Vegas. I asked a couple people who I thought were Queen fans (60 year old guys in vintage 70's Queen t's) and they were Adam fans. I think the most likely thing is for them to release a Q+AL Live DVD and Album. There is a chance Adam could release something featuring Brian May (and maybe Roger) on his album like Brian did with Lady Gaga OR a slim chance Adam could do some fill-in vocals on a old, resuscitated Queen track and for it to be released listed as Queen featuring Adam Lambert. BUT I WANT A3! And I want it NOW!  |

Ok the crown upset me a smidge (but I got over it  ) ALTHOUGH I might add that my 10 year old daughter (who likes Adam's singles) saw a vid of Adam during WATC and frowned a bit...She said, "He's really really really good...but only Freddie should wear the crown. Freddie's the king. Adam's a prince...or something..." I had to laugh.... |

Queen is not a young hungry band anymore that needs to prove anything and B&R aren't rushing to record. They would only record if/when Adam wanted to... |

Starting tomorrow is what looks like the toughest part of the tour - 5 performances in 7 days with only 2 days off for recovery with the MSG show at the end of the 7 days. #yikes #holdtheacrobatics Can't remember if GNT had anything even remotely similar in terms of shows stacked together... I don't think I'll be alone in holding my breath until this bit is over. If Adam can navigate this bit without wear and tear on his voice then the rest should be a snap! You should just relax, get yourself a glass of wine , put your feet up, and lose yourself watching Adam in Vegas vids before you do your downloads! Call it...AFL therapy!  |
