Such a novel and insightful perspective. My mind is blown. It must have taken him hours and hours to think of this - musical and creative suttee. He must have been meditating with the Dalai Lama for 20 years to reach this state of wisdom . I knew Adam had to have balls of titanium to take on this job, but I am also appreciating more and more what Brian and Roger have to put up with as well. The judgement reaches astonishing levels. The packed out stadiums across the globe tell another and very different story about what a true legacy is and means. Brian's tears tell a different story. Roger sharing the stage with his son tells a different story.

Katy Perry to Star in ‘Clueless’ on Broadway? Meet Our Dream CastAnd she has her eyes set on her ideal Cher. “Katy Perry has expressed interest, and I love her to death,” Heckerling tells Vulture. But who should be her Dionne, Tai, Christian, Elton, and Murray? Check out our dream supporting cast of who we think should be rolling with the homies on Broadway. Rihanna as Dionne (Stacey Dash) Hayley Williams as Tai (Brittany Murphy) John Mayer as Elton (Jeremy Sisto)
Adam Lambert as Christian (Justin Walker)

I know what I saw and I feel privileged to have shared the experience with a full arena of cheering and enthusiastic fans. My heart goes out to those who just don't get it.

Is Adam Lambert too good.. does it worry some critics, that Freddie's iconic status could be affected? If so,why can't the world have more than one great voice in it??
It's not a contest after all and Freddie is a legend and will remain one.. So why all the "Lady Doth Protest Too Much "Comments
I guess if you say Adam is no Freddie Mercury enough times you will believe it....

I don't get that obsession with repeating obvious things either. No, Adam is not Freddie, he's also not 7 billion other people alive on this planet, he's also not a billion other dead people. Sorry if I'm being coarse, but it really should be that obvious. It's like saying no one should ever perform Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, etc. 'cause they're dead and they are iconic and no one could ever be them.

Well, I hope they repeat it a gazillion times and get to that Zen spot where they truly recognize the blatantly obvious fact. Adam Lambert is not Freddie Mercury. He is Adam Lambert. Doesn't take a rocket scientist. Oh wait, the rocket scientist apparently is aware, because he chose Adam Lambert to be the singer for the tour. Pretty sure he knows Adam Lambert is not Freddie Mercury. But I'm sure the critics know much better what Queen should do than, oh, say, two of the founding members. And the receptive, cheering, standing ovation crowds.Yep, tired of the stupid statement, "Adam Lambert is not Freddie Mercury."So I guess Queen should have just wrapped up their love of performing, their insane song catalog, kissed off their fans, put their instruments in storage and retired 23 years ago. So sad, look what we would have missed.Done with that hackneyed statement.
