Interestingly enough, as I was looking at that musician's perspective thread in Queenzone www.queenzone.com/forums/1389352/q-and-al-a-musicians-perspective.aspx?page=5, I discovered DanielNester is a long time member and he wrote this: One of the many levels of irony to peel off in these QAL discussions is how some in the anti-Lambert camp refer to negative reviews to point out that not everyone loves Queen + Adam Lambert. While that's true, it's also true that rock critics--in particular the more traditional ones, who are on staff at the big-city papers--have always hated Queen, and made big sport in coming up with new ways of insulting them. The small town writers are usually covering several beats and likely haven't gotten the memo from Rock Critic Central that Queen are horrible.to which the OP responded: Bang on. Most reviews of Queen shows from 1974-80 ranged from lukewarm to downright hostile and personal. Only by 1982 did these guys seem to finally "get it." But at the end of the day, Queen were just too British and not one-dimensional for these critics get their heads around. They want to compartmentalize things into a box, a nice easy to understand category. This is why Queen never really fit the mold of an American rock scene with The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac and Springsteen. Daniel is going to his 3rd show tonight. This coincides with something I've been thinking about today. Within the 2.5 hour show, Adam takes on multiple front man personas. He starts out with the tough, metal, motor cycle dude (who just happens to have this amazing voice instead of a hoarse, cigarette tainted gravel). He exits the stage and comes back as this over-the-top, campy, theatrical, glam-rock character who just stepped off the Broadway stage (who just happens to have this amazingly powerful broadway voice). Exit staqe left and re-enter as this rather normal looking, modest, humble crooner (who just happens to sing the rock version of opera arias). Act 4 sees Adam as, what? I haven't quite pegged that one yet. A front man of a rock band, I guess (who just happens to use this powerful voice like the Pied Piper leading his audience in a crazy call and response). For the encore, Adam reappears fully developed as the new leopard king, acknowledging the love of his new subjects (while just happening to sing the plaster off the walls of the arena.) No wonder some critics don't know what to make of him. He is a chameleon. He is a consummate actor as well as a phenomenal singer as well as a charismatic person who looks like he should be in a grunge bar, on a Broadway stage, at the Met or in Buckingham palace. Love this, Cassie!!!!!!!!

Sitting eating breakfast on winter Sunday listening to gospel show on public radio station (beats political discussions) and husband walks in
Him "you'll be singing that soon" Me. "Yep, church of glam rock awaits" Him "what are you taking about, I meant next thing you'll be going to church ... " Me "ummm so not happening but Somebody to love is a gospel song the way Adam sings it," Him - rolls eyes and walks out.

mmm never thought about it before but I think he may have the back of his pants double stick taped to his boot. Wouldn't the pant leg fall down otherwise? If I remember correctly, this shot was taken at the apex of a kick, so the momentum would still be moving the pants perpendicular to his leg and they wouldn't succumb to gravity until the movement completely stopped. Plus those pants are deliciously tight. You are very right. Should not state a hypothesis with insufficient data or testing. Tried it. (don't laugh. no really stop it) and jean material will not fall even without the momentum.

But but but, if you don't state a hypothesis, how am I supposed to show off. :D I would never laugh, really I wouldn't and those pants are still deliciously tight, self-evident truth - no testing required. (hmmm, if he let me I could test if the margin between skin and materal is close enough. Nope, heart couldn't stand it.

Crap, I went and checked out the Versace underwear that a fan gave Adam -- gold ones with the crown in the front and leopard print on the backside. Now the little pictures off to the right of my screen which track what you've searched on are showing the underwear. How do I explain that to the dh?

To most of the world #FLD = Fast Lane Daily. Bridgemah used it for the "He's no Freddie" mantra. It stands for Freddie Lambert Debate. Thanks to all for jumping in with definition while I was asleep ... It stands for "Freddie Legal Disclaimer" a nod to the endless repetition of "Freddie is greatest ever; he's no Freddie" mantra that appears everywhere. Speculated there is a law we don't know about that any writer has yo insert some version of that phrase... :-) (Freddie Lambert Debate works too ) I like my translation better!! But OK. Freddie Legal Disclaimer is damn fine too! #FLD How about #IDNGAFALAR = hashtag I Do Not Give A Fuck About Lame Ass Reviews?
