I wish Lyndsey would have asked "Whose your 'new label'? Missed opportunity...Dang! Yes, but he would never have said the label, but ........ THERE IS A PLAN!!!!! "there's his shrouded-in-secrecy third album" He's not giving away anything at all yet. And you are right, he wouldn't have answered if she had asked. All this is, is confirmation from his lips........ We knew he had a label when he was in Sweden working with Max and his people for close to a month. That doesn't happen in anyone's universe without a major label deal in place. Still nice to hear him confirm it though...........

WOW! That skillet guy sounds like he is shredding his voice! Yikes! On Monster he is definitely singing in a more lowered tone and adding gravel but if you listen to Lucy his voice doesn't sound like that.

Yes, but he would never have said the label, but ........ THERE IS A PLAN!!!!! True!lol But why doesn't Adam want to let people know he has a new label after the "artistic differences" fiasco with RCA? He can't. His management can't. The label can't. It is all part of 'the plan'. We'll know when they are ready for us to know.

okay - thanks. Skillet does seem like a strange name for a Christian band tho. Alt Christian rock just sounds like a major contradiction in terms It's actually a pretty popular genre. That monster video has over 71 million views. It allows fans of rock music to enjoy that genre without all the misogynistic and negative undertones of more "traditional" rock music.

Logically, we knew Adam had a label. He had too. No one gets max Martin on their own. But it is so, so, so, so good and comforting to see his own words in writing confirming he has a "different label". Because some people (won't say who, but their user name might start with "A" and end in "i" with a "v" in there somewhere) might have been starting to get a bit nervous that we've never had any kind of official confirmation.

I don't really know, but I think because: "...so much of it is about timing and positioning. The business of music is really tricky, and everything has to kind of work in unison, in harmony, to make for a successful release."

Oh, I didn't know Avici was so vested in whether Adam had a label!

But...but.....I can understand having a "PLAN" for keeping A3 secret , promoting it, etc. but....why does the label he signed with need to be secret too? I just don't get it! HELP ME PLEASE! HELP ME!! (Ooops Adam's 'Church of Glam' is rubbing off on me!lol)

If Roger and Brian decide to go out on the road in their 80s with someone else, that person will get "no Adam Lambert" in addition to "no Freddie Legal Disclaimer." My DH after the MSG show (which he overall loved) said that Adam should enjoy the arena tour as he'll never experience it solo. Sigh. Yes that may be true but success will come in other ways. I'm looking forward to A3 too and am optimistic about it. The more he keeps accomplishing the more he'll keep accomplishing... ETA: Of course Queen's original is awesome. Out of the QAL songs, I've been really enjoying SCC a lot. Glad they used so much from SHH. I don't know how he'll pull his arena tour off but it's still something he wants as he said in his interview with Liam recently. Our guy seems to get what he wants, however unconventionally. I'm hoping for Q3's ZodiacShowesque revue.
