Hey 3ku1 Katy Perry's management IS Adam's management. Not sure a duet is in the cards for them. But she seems to have been very supportive behind the scenes and she worships Queen. OT: anyone seen KP's tour? I'm going this week. I really appreciate KP's friendship with Adam. And I like her as a person. But every time I've heard her sing on the awards show she sounded pretty bad to me. So I don't think I could sit through a 2hr.+ show of hers. I'm sure it'll be fun with lots of costume changes but it's just not for me. I am still puzzled about why Taylor Swift is selling out arenas. Her song writing and voice...I just don't get it. Now I go in a minute to see Pink in concert. I bet she puts on one heck of a show. I like the rock edge in her music. And if Tina Turner was still performing I'd travel really far to see her show! Damn....what a ball of explosive energy she was on stage! And she still has a great set of legs! Can only speak for my husband, who really enjoys Taylor Swift. (and would probably go to her concert if he could convince me to go along) He just likes the songs. The easy melodies, lyrics that make sense - he can sing along to the whole song and enjoy the story being told. He'd probably enjoy them equally if ANYONE with a decent voice and interpretation sang them. He liked Debbie Gibson when he was younger, and we agreed that they are the same "type". Voice quality is not all THAT important to him. Adam-wise - he came along with me to the WAG concert, enjoyed himself, admits that there's no one around who can sing like him, but since voice quality ain't that important to him, isn't really a big fan. Doesn't dislike him, just doesn't really care one way or the other. I suspect that it's related to the the reason so many instrumentalists and classical music lovers follow Adam... P.S. Being easy on the eyes is plus, but since I know he listens to a youtube playlist of her songs while playing Hearthstone on the computer, it's not the main reason

I saw Pink 2 years ago in Houston and she was fantastic, I would go see her again anytime! I remember watching a video of one of her concerts...I think maybe in Germany..where she talked about singing WWFM 'by a guy who could sing it a lot better than me" and at this concert she is put in a clear sphere and rolled across the top of the audience. Just amazing!

True!lol But why doesn't Adam want to let people know he has a new label after the "artistic differences" fiasco with RCA? I don't really know, but I think because: "...so much of it is about timing and positioning. The business of music is really tricky, and everything has to kind of work in unison, in harmony, to make for a successful release."I would add…. Have a label that believes in your music and supports it big time for radio play! Have the past label chosen one of his own songs, pushed it, it would have been successful maybe not #1 but I'd bet at least the top 10..

This interview with Lyndsey is so exciting! I love knowing that there is a thought out plan in place. I think that was missing with RCA! Can't wait for A3!

Logically, we knew Adam had a label. He had too. No one gets max Martin on their own. But it is so, so, so, so good and comforting to see his own words in writing confirming he has a "different label". Because some people (won't say who, but their user name might start with "A" and end in "i" with a "v" in there somewhere) might have been starting to get a bit nervous that we've never had any kind of official confirmation. Sitting here laughing at myself. To explain, I am reading on an ipad so have zoomed out to where only the discussion boxes are showing - no poster info. Reading this and struggling to figure out why in the hell would Avicii care if Adam has a label or not. Some days I wonder about me. You got me good Avari. (Ahhh, I see I wasn't the only one. Whew)

..... Speaking of Rainbow - Queen put this out on their official YouTube. Very interesting to watch *This* Stone Cold Crazy after having just seen the current one...but it looks and sounds great. Excited for September! More than interesting .... this is $^%^%^*^*%%##*)(%#$#(_)((&*&%$#$##$^$% . Everything is so GLAM, I am dying. The satin, the platforms, those freaking gloves, the hair, the makeup, the SOUND. Wow, just wow. I wish I had a time machine. So that my post is not completely OT, I appreciate the different form of 'attack' in the vocals. Adam's attack reminds me of full-on machine gun rapid fire for this song, which I believe is the basis for his interpretation. Freddie is exquisite and uses a lot more light and shade. John's bass is astonishing - the quiet magician. Aleks and Talon, you crack me up Going soft indeed!
