QUEEN RAWKS MOHEGAN SUN

Fantastic show last night at a sold out Mohegan Sun Arena with Queen and Adam Lambert.

Lambert stole the show with amazing vocals and even better stage presence. No one will ever replace Freddie Mercury, but Lambert
sure made this evening memorable.

Queen played a 25 song set that included all the classics...Stone Cold Crazy, Another One Bites the Dust, Killer Queen, Somebody to Love, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Bohemian Rhapsody, We Will Rock You, and We Are The Champions.

This was also a special evening for Brian May who was celebrating a birthday...Adam Lambert led the crowd in a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday for the guitarist.

Overall a really impressive performance and a lot better than I expected.

I made mention of this in the MSG thread, but thought I'd mention it here. Marknow came in and said that there was an issued with his MSG multicam YT vid. One of the problems was that Universal had put a claim in on it.

Now I am generally pessimistic about Queen releases until I see a press release and then I'm only 95% satisfied until I hold the product in hand.

BUT THAT makes me feel that MSG was recorded and is being at least discussed if not planned as a live release of some kind.

The last time Universal put in copyright claims was when suddenly all of the Live at the Rainbow stuff was being claimed...then the announcement that they were releasing Live at the Rainbow. SO while far from a confirmation - it is a domino in the process.

Speaking of Rainbow - Queen put this out on their official YouTube.

Very interesting to watch *This* Stone Cold Crazy after having just seen the current one...but it looks and sounds great. Excited for September!
